@@Mr.Ali444. The TCM course is broken down into video modules, there is no PDF for the course. As for the OTW content there are only 2 pdfs which I'm sure you can find online with a quick Google search, the rest of the content is in video format.
This was a great explanation. I learned about THM feom the TCM Ethical Hacking course. Done three paths on THM but taking a break (at least a break from doing it as main schoolwork) to get my eJPT.
this channel has an etchical hacking in 12 hours class. this is basicly the chapter by chapter path i would also choose .. more or less. its really well made . ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fNzpcB7ODxQ.html
There is no step by step that fits all necessities of everyone but I recomend: 1) OS (Linux and Windows) THM is excelent for it and you can reas Linux Basics for hackers; 2) Networks (take a course from CISCO); 3) Programming (the language doesn't matter too much as long as you can use it); 4 ) Now you have a solid base to choose a role to follow like pentest, SOC, NOC, threat hunter, forensics, etc; 5) Whatever you choose try to understand what you are doing instead of just using tools and study how someome create the thing you are trying to break (if you choose web pentest for example learn some HTML, javascript and PHP just the basic to understand how the flaws work). Hope this will help you and avoid burnout studying 10 things at the same time.
Yesterday i was thinking about the same thing and keep questioning myself which one is better for me, now after seeing this video it helped very well to take the decision 👍🏻😎 Good job TCM 🫡👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I started with THM, completely the junior pentester path, I think I have gotten idea of basics and I am going to go for next level by trying port swigger academy and getting my hands dirty by doing bug bounty at same time. I think Just after learning basics we should actually move on to real world stuff or otherwise like me... you would be stuck in learning loop. So take the jump after learning just some basics into getting your hands dirty. Learning as we go is the best strategy in the entire Tech field..both development and pentesting
nahamsec, which is a recognized bug bounty hunter said the same. consuming endlessly learning content is not the most efficient approach to progress but instead, after learning the basis, he recommended to get the hands dirty, even with free bug bounty programs.
THAT'S IT!! I'm doing the same, at the moment i'm finishing the junior penetration tester but before i did all basics learning paths. When i finish i'll go to Port Swigger and at the same time, training with ctfs + bug bounty, i think if i stay just studying, studying, studying, i'll never learn how the jungle works.
@Cybermentor, I have struck between which one to choose,I m working as a network security engineer and have some experience in network. can you help me to choose the right way to
