Best advice probably is: If you are kind of a beginner ... dont play lights at all. You are matched against a medium often and it requires an insane amount of map knowledge and map awareness to perform well.
Its been an annoying grind, but i got a dozen tier x researched before hitting up the lights, But i am now to the point, i racked over 4k damage in my obj 84 holding a 1v3 flank on the desert map with the ravine down the center
lol but somehow, i'm wondering why ppl don't massively target him. E100 vs LT100 is like elephant squashing an Ant but that E100 just stared at him....in fact ran.
Another really good informative video on what lights to aim for when grinding. I personally really struggle playing lights, as you don’t have many if any chances of making mistakes. Keep it up droodles 🙌
Oh God Droodles .... i literally Searching this one today on YT ... I started from 53tp to chieftan Mk6 to STB1t9 and E50m t8 and now Wz113GFT line and with the Skoda t27 I wanted to go with Lights .... thank thank TANK you
Honestly when i first started i went down the german tech tree it was pretty easy to learn the vehicles and i started with the heavies then got russian tds then german mediums and i believe i made the right choices in the vehicles i chose to grind first, had a pretty good time and it helped me learn the game and along the way learn the maps as well
As a pretty experienced player(55% wr ovrl) I struggle immensely with the vickers it s my worst performing t10 by a mile but I actually perform pretty well in the batchat even before the uptdate
You can flip it around and say which of these worries you the most, if you are driving a light or med, and they are on the red team. For me, it’s the batchat and the Sheridan, if the bc can sneak in and get a clip off, and of course the Sheridan nuking you.
I've very rarely played lights; it's a coincidence that I'd decided, a few weeks ago, to just play lights, so that I can bring the crew skills to maximum (all other classes have that) and to hopefully learn how to play them - my WR has been steadily going down ever since, but I do enjoy it
Ive got all 5 and the Vickers light 105 I've played 164 and a wrirate of 37% along with the Sheridan played 34 winrate 34% and the Bat -Chat 25t played 15 and 45% winrate were all played far too early and winrate reflects that but i did gain Experience. With the T-100-LT I've played 74 and winrate at 56% and the WZ-132-1 played 10 70% winrate,honourable mention to the Bat-Chat 25t prototype played 129 with a winrate at 56% and the Object 84 with a 56% winrate.
lol same, winrate is dead in tanks I used to learn the game with back when everyone was still figuring out game mechanics and how to play, way before youtube had bushka, sk8, fatness, and droodles producing guides on how to play.
TLDR I grinded 140 way back when, never did good but gained experience with lighter and faster tanks, got bat chat and did 64% wr. 3 accounts with many more medium games later and I’m pushing 68% in vickers and 82% in t100lt. I know it’s a struggle to grind for credits and exp on f2p but that’s why you can test your play style on lower tiers with little loss. Basically play what you find interesting.

The batchat is at least imo the best light. Had a game a couple days ago where I won a 1v5 against a full hp e5 with only 300 hp, doing 6.2k lmao. Thought it was a HOF game, but unfortunately not. Still showed off the replay to my friend and single-handedly got him into playing blitz with me so I still won
I agree completely with your opinion on the vickers its still a great tank but the only reason i ground the line was for the alpha and now that it doesnt have that it just doesnt feel as good to play
Awhile ago, it used to have the best view range in the game. Then they just nerfed that like crazy, nerfed the armor, and nerfed the alpha. Maybe they can give it back the view range?
that would remove the purpose of t100 and wz 132 cuz vickers would just be better and there would be no unique tank out of the three and I don't really have a problem with those mechanics
Imo this mechanic when used properly basic ruins the spot mechanic. Cuz if you gonna be spotted for 20s if u take an shoot, enemy team gonna have an immeasurable advantage cuz they pretty much know where you are. If u gonna do it, just make everyone visible while unspotted, like Wot console in Cold War. Then it will make sense cuz everyone is already visible but not spotted. T100 in the hands of an good player ( dont need an exceptional one), will pretty much shoot, just to keep the enemy spotted, while batchat an the other meds need to NOT SHOOT or they will ruin their spot capability.

How about you frustrate yourself a bit less, make some more crossout content, and make me (and prolly other viewers) happy to see something else for a change...? Hell try and make an as smoll as possible tank with the kaiju gun or some shit if you really wanna make tank related content..? Make a car that looks like a shoppingcart, make a powertower on legs, make a vehicle using augers or shiv wheels as your only weapons, make a need for speed car, make a tie- fighter on hovers... for example xp
In a good players hands the batchat is easily the best light I can avg 65% with 3.5 k avg in my batchat in a bad players hands it’s near the worst but man if you know what you’re doing its sooo rewarding
Your game in the WZ demonstrates to me that tracer shells is a better mechanic than the spotting mechanic. You got frozen in the Wz for an additional 10 seconds due to the tracer shells, in a game where 2 seconds was the difference between a win and a loss. If you hadn't been hit with that tracer shell, you would've been able to move in 10 seconds earlier.
But, how often is the tracer mechanic better? Its good for keeping TDs behind buildings, but having the ability to know when you are unspotted is useful all the time in a light.
@@TL-angzarryes ,but only if they know it's a tracer shell , of not. They will poke out and eat shells . Wz121b ,t100lt,wz132-1,that last collector medium in fortune shards , that's all I know , there must be more ... They won't even know why
@@sumukhvmrsat6347 You do know that the tracer shells have a different graphic right? You can see when you are hit by one and you should know you are spotted by one.
Nah BC 25t is for me at least the best light, being able to outspot any tank in this game, then dumping you're clip in and run away is so nice. The only tank I played in rating and therefore im place 400 in the world in ratings thanks to the BC.
