Psych is one of best shows on tv, so I had to make my way back to it. For today's video, we go over what I believe are some of the best running jokes or gags on Psych. This is a fun video going over the great re-occuring jokes in Psych. The show is littered with them and guaranteed, I missed quite a few. Shawn and Gus are great characters, and the comedy is always top notch. What is your favorite running joke in Psych?

As I was writing my script, I was like, I can make this video an hour long. The show had ton of little things in it. Ton of jokes that kept going and were so well done.

Not too long of stunning gag buts after Lassiter was accused of killing that man, for the rest of the season whenever Shawn would say he trusted him Gus would say “I’m still not sure he didn’t kill that guy”

The "Black and Tan" Alias names are hilarious to me! I know they're used in the Fashion Week episode where they fake being a modeling duo, but I could have SWORN it was used in more than one episode!!

@@NaterTot We have both seen the serious multiple times and I knew that was the most correct answer. It both makes each episode unique while also giving special characteristics to each scene in the show that they do this in.

My favorite is still Ctrl + Alt + Delete. Just watching Gus do the motion in the background is everything. I found out in an interview with Dulé it all stems from James ad-libbing in episode 4 (I think) with a nickname and it stuck, after that it became a part of the show.

This show has a lot of stuff like that, for example the first episode's pineapple was improvised by James and it took off as a sort of staple of the show. Also there's an episode (Romeo and Juliet and Juliet) that ends with a little outtake montage, including James struggling to put his seatbelt on as it kept locking up. Then the very next episode (Feet Don't Kill Me Now) has a part where Gus struggles with his seatbelt the same way haha

I love that the one time Shawn uses Gus's real name was to a serial murderer, right after agitating him through the glass in the visiting section at a maximum security prison. Couldn't have chosen a better spot to put it.

Gus inappropriately flirting and thinking of himself as a player his another great running gag. Shawn and Gus and their snacks is another. Shawn repeatedly using Gus's credit card, forging his name on leases, etc. The Blueberry getting wrecked, tricked out, torn in half, etc. "This is a company car!" Lassie's love for guns and being trigger happy. Jokes about Gus's head and Shawn's hair. Shawn commenting on other men's hair. "His hair is terrible."
