Thank you so much for this comparison, I think it worth picking the Meross for future proofing my smart home system. I used Google, Apple and now Amazon. Somehow Alexa and Siri works better with my foreign accent. Keep up the good work
Can the Meross be placed in a normal power strip and still turn the power on and off including on and off for the power strip or do you have to turn on and off the power strip manually thus defeating the purpose of the smart plugs? 🤔
It depends on what the smart plug is plugged into. If It is plugged into the main socket with the power strip plugged into the smart plug, then it will allow you to turn the power strip on or off. However, if the smart plug is plugged into an outlet on the power strip itself. Then it will only allow you to turn that specific outlet on and off.
I bought a couple of Meross smart power strips arriving today; will buy individual smart plugs at a later date. Thanks for answering my query bud. @@jamesclarke8375
