When I was a kid I chose chikarita because I thought I could get the other 2 later on. When I realized I couldn't I deleted my save a beat the new game with totodile.

i used typhlosion, ampharos, vileplume, the red gyarados, kangaskhan (was originally gonna get tyranitar but baoba wouldn’t fucking call, but kangaskhan is still pretty good, it carried me.) and espeon.

Typhlosion, heracross fearrow slowbro amphros nidoqueen can have access to all by goldenrod so easy to level through whole play through with pretty good coverage

Just finished a playthrough with typhlosion, scizor, golem, exegutor, tentacruel and granbull. Granbull is an underrated pick imo, hits very hard and intimidate is always awesome to have, found it looking for a metal coat (on a wild magnimite)

Mine was feralligator, crobat (my dawg tbh), umbreon, dragonite, ente (literally just needed a spot filled but it was useful), and the shiny Gyarados (duh)

I am using houndoom, ferraligator, ampharos, heracross, Dragonite, Nidoking . Before houndoom I had an Umbreon and Magmar on the team, because you can't access him until Kanto and before Dragonite I had crobat

for me i will use umbereon for will and just spam anything for koga and use ho-oh w / fly for bruno and i will probably use gyarados, ampharos and typhlosion for karen and lance i will use gyarados w/ ice fang for his dragonites and i will use ampharos to finish the rest

I used typhlosion, red gyrados, quagsire, ampharos and dragonite. I spent at least 5 hours grinding that level 15 dratini to a level 55 dragonite at the entrance of the victory road cave😭

i’m currently leveling up HG team of Ho-Oh, Typhlosion, Nidoking, Gyrados, Lugia, and Articuno to level 70 to beat red. Insane coverage, but i’m beat out by most rock moves. I use Typh with sunny day to set up my eruption spam for 5 turns straight, ‘leftovers’ item to heal in between turns 😂

Umbreon is defensive his offensive capabilities are really bad I mean he is so weak, he would probably take 3 turns of super effective moves or so take down anything

You are right, I just realized the psychic tm is only obtainable at the Celedon game corner and not the goldenrod game corner. However, you can just teach EQ to Typhlosion and still have super effective hits against poison and fighting types.

The only pokemon koga has that are not weak to fire type attacks are muk and crobat. Ampharos can deal with the Crobat, and realistically and team member can defeat his muk. At the end of the day its about what team you will have fun using@@Arisdex

My first Hall of Fame team was back in 2011: Lv57 Vaporeon, Lv40 Glaceon, Lv50 Jolteon, Lv50 Flareon, Lv53 Umbreon, Lv55 Espeon. Good times. 😎😎😎 My second team was also in 2011, almost a month after the first and pretty unbalanced in levels: Lv41 Lopunny, Lv76 Drapion, Lv51 Latias, Lv41 Empoleon, Lv46 Torterra, Lv36 Arceus(Steel). Good times, good times. 😎😎😎 Haven't bothered doing anymore Elite Four beatdowns in the 13 years since, as I've been busy just grinding peeps to Lv100. Meaning the Gym Leaders are all trapped in the Fighting Dojo waiting for me and another rematch...yesss. And I'm not gonna set'em free by whoopin' them, either. 🤣🤣🤣

Easy win, Umbreon, Double-Team, Toxic, moonlight, sand attack. Just set up a few double teams, use toxic and sand attacks after moonlight for heal. Make sure you save your elixirs and ethers for the elite 4 and us all PP ups on umbreon. I beat the game doing this, it’s kinda cheap and cheesy but it’s free win
