What is the Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit?

I was so scared as I am a new Christian and have intrusive thoughts and thought I may have done it in the past but I haven’t 🙏praise the LORD he is the Greatest

I feel like I've come close to it. I forgot who the Holy Spirit really was and started cussing at Him when He tried to convict me. It started with just intrusive blasphemous thoughts which alot of people suffer from unfortunately. I was scared by them and they made me feel really bad and distant from God. They got worse and worse and more frequent until eventually I became numb. It was truly miserable. I forgot what happiness, sorrow, or really any emotion was, but deep down I wanted to know them again, even if it ment being subject to unimaginable shame over what I was thinking. It got to the point where I would impulsively curse Him for even the most petty things that didn't even involve Him. Eventually the impulse turned to real anger, even if it was minor. I tried to repent but I always shortly went back to doing it against my will. I found this video and it really helped. I came to Christ truely because I let Him convict me again and I came to Christ for salvation. Praise God for having mercy on a wretched blasphemer like me!

I've been going insane for days in fear I committed this sin, on the internet 24/7 and this is the first time I felt relief. Bless you!

I have intrusive thoughts due to anxiety i worry about committing this sin it is the sin that scares me the most, i overthink it or may think about it all wrong, sometimes i have triggering words or moments that take me back to Matthew chapter 12 and the words of the Pharisees ring in my head and it makes me so afraid. Everytime this happens i ask for God's forgiveness, this video has given me hope, i go back and watch it more than once to reassure my mind

I am OCD person and fighting with those thoughts for 4 years. Few days ago, while going in a bike, i suddenly did tht blasphemy in my mind. I didn't know i did tht intentionally or its my OCD. I feel like i did it intentionally in my mind. I feel so scared and i am crying for 4 days. I hope i will get the love from Jesus again. It's torturing me day and night. Even it's torturing me during my sleep. I love Jesus and i love holy spirit. But i committed this unforgivable sin. I am really scared

i literally cried ! cuz i thought i committed the unpardonable sin .. when he didnt say "that fear alone is a proof that you haven't committed it" yet.. im thinking what am i gonna do with my life.. oh my Lord !! ..

I'm 17 years old. And when I was 12, I had first learned of the holy spirit, and in my head, I would repeat a little phrase "the holy spirit isn't stupid, and I would never say that". And it just came back to me today, that I was afraid that one day I might have lashed out and said something terrible. But knowing this, just makes me feel a lot better. Its like weight off my shoulders. And I am feeling happy again. Thank you.

I needed this soooo much! I used to sin in rage but have been broken of it now but I have sinned by saying something in the fit of rage and heard the Holy Spirit say "oh no" and then I felt like he left out of my arm and then out of my left hand. When that happened I immediately fell into my chair and felt a disparity and fear. I have not heard the voice of the Holy Spirit since then. I used to hear the audible voice crispy clear. I've cried, pleaded, prayed, everything to ask for forgiveness. My pastor told me what you said but today I truly felt a deep comfort and bawled. I have realized I can still hear the deep intuition and it's getting stronger but how I miss hearing the unquestionable audible voice of the Holy Spirit. Please pray for me, to get through this valley and that I get stronger in when I hear and obey the Holy Spirit. It's been 6 or 7 years, I had a man with a word of knowledge, he had no idea why but the Holy Spirit told him to tell me "It was not much and not too far." Your message made me understand a little better. I just need to hear, feel and be in the complete trust and get stronger in what I still have. I still cry bitterly Psalm 51 is my heart cry. This was so comforting I was so worried

I was so worried that I might have committed the unpardonable sin in the past. but because I was so in fear, that was the proof that I haven't committed it. I spoke against the spirit out of anger because of my abusive preacher father. The hurt and confusion of hypocrisy caused me to be impulsive and say words regret. I felt awful immediately after and was overtaken by fear and remorse. It started a cycle of a 7 year battle with anxiety and mental health issues. I love God but sometimes still fear that I have committed this sin. It tortures me to this day. I am glad you have clarified that those concerned about it have not done it. If I could take back one thing I have done in my past it would be the disgusting and careless words I spoke that day. Forgive me Jesus. I am beyond sorry and ashamed that I let my temporary anger motivate me to speak such shameful words. If there is any hope for me I pray that you will be merciful and give me another chance at forgiveness

Yes! That's what I felt God told me about this verse; The holy spirit is the one who leads you to repentance, so if you don't want anything to do with Him you won't have a chance to repent. Going against the thing that points you to the right direction could never go well. Never worried a secound about that verse after, because I knew I wanted the Holy spirit in my life.

You are right about what it is. So, so many pastors in my area don't even know what it is and that's sad😢

I was tortured by blasphemous thoughts throughout the day for days and I accidentally muttered the bad thought while trying to stop my thoughts and I didn't know if I still had hope. Well now I guess I do because I did not intentionally do it nor did I have anything negative against the Holy Spirit so I think I should be fine. Now, the thoughts are less and I try to keep a relationship with Christ even though I barely started my faith, and I finished the book of Matthew. I was infant baptized and I hope to be baptized soon.

Wow.... Just got clarity... PRAISE THE LORD JESUS!!!

I was so in fire with God when this happens to me. One week after , i hit this verse and gave me fear. So much fear. 10 yrs ago. I know I am saved, and forgiven and redeemed, but the blasphemous thoughts has been a background thought already that I cannot control. I hate them so much! I wanna forget them but it keeps on speaking in my head. It became an anxious and depressive rumination which is not very good in my mental health. Pls pray for me that this words will be broken into pieces.

I believe I committed the unforgivable sin in my thoughts and head cause I heard my thoughts saying something very similar to what the pharisees did , so I got upset about my thoughts and when I got home I tried to brush it off by just saying it just thoughts in my head and I would never say it out loud but I ended up crying and telling Jesus to not leave me and I cried to Jesus telling him my thoughts were evil and I’m aware that you cannot accidentally blasphemy the Holy Spirit

I remember seeing some weird things in a church when I was a teen. My Aunt told me that it was the Holy Spirit. I thought to myself, "Then I don't want the Holy Spirit." As an adult I found out about the Kundalini Spirit. I realized that that was the spirit in the church that day and it's also still the spirit I do not want. I am grateful for God's understanding of my heart. Today I am working on listening to the Holy Spirit then doing what is said without question

Several years ago I was in a really low part of my life. I said some really really nasty things toward God and since then I’ve regretted it. I was in fear of doing this. One day my father randomly comes up to me and said “Jesus still loves you”. That stayed in my head for several days because I felt like I was far too gone. And my heart felt heavy and the Lord kept calling me. I was in tears a few times like I felt Gods love and wanted me to come back. I finally gave my heart to Jesus and asked for forgiveness and I’ve felt so much better.

I have never been so stressed out waiting for an answer but PHEWW this video definitely cleared some things up. Now I'm going to pray to God and give thanks to him for helping me understand this not just for my sake, but for others I might come across in day to day life that may be confused as to what the unforgivable sin is and if they've ever committed it.

I'm 15 and a young Christian. Im absolutely terrified I committed the unforgivable sin. I suffer from these terrible thoughts saying mean things about the Lord, the Holy Spirit or Jesus. When I'm having a mind attack, I tend to whisper Good things for example "Jesus is good" or the "Holy Spirit is good" but sometimes I dont know if I accidentally get my words mixed up and say the bad thoughts. I get so much anxiety from it, I cry, my body shakes and I immediately Pray and Repent. I'm just so scared. I've gotten so much anxiety from this. This is probably the most scariest tying I've felt. I've prayed to God to take the thoughts away, I know I need to trust Him but it's so hard at times, I know I sound like a terrible person for saying that but I mean I always worry aswell my heart isn't soft enough or that I'm not forgiven. Please if someone could reach out it would dearly help me.

I have been worrying all through out last month that i have committed this sin to where I have cried a few time bexause i felt like i know i committed this sin to where i asked for forgiveness a lot but yesterday I felt like some sort of feeling that I'll be ok when I was remembering a picture of Jesus and had emotional music playing in my head and remembered how much he loves us and I cried and prayed to give him my life and part of me believes that was the Lord awakening my spirit like he did a few times throughout October and I felt like I officially gave me life to Christ right there but I celebrated Halloween and I'm still wondering was I wrong for that because I had no evil intentions i just wanted to get candy and dress up and I have been reading a few times and I just want to say this video brings a lot of peace to me

My mum shared a testimony to me about a lady who God helped in her exams. And due to my fear of the blasphemy Holy spirit, the thought that said it is the Devil, came to my mind in a tiny voice which I know it was definitely not from me. And I rebuked it, and said said out that all Glory be to God. The Devil is using my fear to haunt me. I love the Holy spirit so much. Does that mean I have committed Blasphemy?

I am worried about my salvation and would really like some closure. I have gone to church my whole life and was baptized around 13 years old. I haven't always given God the time he deserves, but recently I have shifted my focus completely to him... I started reading the Bible for myself and began with the book of Matthew. As soon as I read that the unforgivable sin specifically meant attributing the holy spirits works to demonic, my mind began having those blasphemous thoughts. I love God and I know that he is all good, but I am still extremely worried about having possibly committing the unpardonable sin.... I've been praying and pleading with God for a sign or reassurance that I am still saved and I haven't gotten an answer, which has worried me. I love God but I'm feeling scared and abandoned.

Calling the Holy Spirit a liar is blasphemy. The Holy Spirit is the witness of everything that Jesus did. The true witness and always tells the truth. Jesus said, "believe in me and be clean." As long as you reject the truth, you will never be forgiven. Stop rejecting and running away from God. Come to Him, believing and receiving all the goodness of God. You can always come to Him. Do it now.

I’ve never been so confused about a topic in the Bible as I am right now with this topic

Ask yourself , what is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit . The answer is in Luke 12:11 , but you have to start with verse 10 because verse 10 and 11 are clauses that are successive , bound together , it's called Polysyndeton , whereby the sin can only be committed by one of God's elect during the hour of temptation when they are brought unto the synagogues and speak not the Holy spirit ; Also taught to disciples by Christ in Mark 13 .

I have bad thoughts abt Jesus i can't control it :((( i keep repeating it i think Jesus wouldn't forgive me any more

I feel like ive genuinely committed this. It used to be a justification for me not going back after falling into sin. My mind would say "youve already committed it, just forget about God and live your life". This time I actually feel like i did, because i feel nothing. Idk whether my heart has become so hardened or that there really is no hope. I dont think i can repent anymore. Because i cant feel bad for my sins. I dont feel remorse anymore.
