Thank you so much for this explanation! I knew beforehand that this is caused by the lack of receptors in the optic nerve, but I could never find any explanation on why that SPECIFIC distance from the image is not seen, and this video explained it well!!

But I have studied, the persistence of vision :- when any image An object is formed on the retina. It stays for about 1/16th of a second. Check out the living science class 8 book.
