Beware of digital nomads with vested interests! Yes, people are friendly, and Angkor Wat is amazing, BUT...The best days here are past, Chinese entrepreneurs are ruining the place, and for singles, the women are losing their charm, and have become more $camming. Note also: disgusting trash everywhere, noisy speakers and dogs, terrible drivers having no respect for pedestrians and cyclists, and unbearable HEAT. And, too, average landscapes and food. Thailand and Vietnam are also cheap, and have much more to offer the majority.
