I agree. HG Tudor has already laid out who these people are and what they do. And he is just one person who read and analysed other people. Dark Triads are self aware narcissists who weaponize their narcissism to stomp over others.

Good for you, knowledge is power. My sister was diagnosed a sociopath when she was in the military. She destroyed my relationship with my daughter. Not as bad as being raised as by one. I wish you the best.

Maybe learn some more before you assume and judge another persons' extensive trauma and real life/lifelong family abuse and experiences. Also, your profile looks fake, it's definitely new so you could be him for all i know b/c he has definitely stalked me using fake profiles, and irl - obsessiveness, at least in my situation, is a major issue, or co-morbid disorder (you know most disordered people have more than 1 PD right?). Hacking into emails, entering my HOME without permission, gaining entry via manipulation - stalking/tracking and waiting until I am not home, and going into my house, leaving just before I arrived home, probably doing disgusting things with my personal items like he said he wanted to do to his ex who he ALSO f'd over, and doing things in my house (loosening the drain pipe in my sink, loosening the support on my lazy susan, wiping his ass or making it look like he wiped his ass on my hair towel and god only knows what else) to mess with my head. As a child, started fires, stole things & lied A LOT - but really, going into my house when i wasn't there, either takes a TON of nerve or NO conscience. I sure as heck couldn't do that nor could i go into someone elses' emails and read them and delete them. He did that to me and his ex. Thinks it's ok because he abused his knowledge of both of us to do so, thinks we're stupid for not changing our passwords when in reality, we'd never think to DO such a thing or suspect my own brother would do such a thing. Getting the picture? People who aren't narcissistic psychos project their good intentions and assume others are NOT deceitful - people who are, assume everyone else is like them. SEEK HELP you NEED IT. I need support from the people manipulated against me by any and every means imaginable and i am going to get it by telling the truth. SEEYA WOULDNT WANNA BEYA!

How about having his son enroll in one semester of college to manipulate his elderly dad into buying him a new vehicle? I put 23 years into a marriage with one. I ended up in a domestic abuse shelter to get away.

We will return him to his real self, but it's going to take years of work. I care for her not, speaking as his mom. I too am education in psychology and begged him several times not to give in to her shoving him into marriage. When she starts her self serving rants about psychology and psychiatry, she gets going about the drugs, lol, so I said bring it! If you want to argue psychopharmicoligy, im your huckleberry! Lol, she stormed off screaming so loud the whole neighborhood heard her! I laughed my butt off!!! She is currently giving me very little to no contact. I love it!

Yeah. If there's no remorse then a major inhibitor of criminal tendencies is gone because they won't regret their actions. But still, probably not all are committing crimes, some are probably just being jerks or generally unpleasant people.

@@MusicGamesEverything I agree. And yet, I find it too fantastic to be true that they aren’t committing crimes. Even petty theft is a crime. Doesn’t have to be murder to be criminal. And I’d suspect that the impulsivity levels are high enough in the dark triad personality disorders to impulsively steal at least once. In my mind, we would be ignoring their personality disorder to assume that the dark triads of the world are simply mean. The very nature of their disordered minds betrays that hope. My two cents for what it’s worth.

Lacking empathy doesn't necessarily mean one would commit a crime though. One could conceivably be either able to tow the line and ensure they never step over legal boundaries or on the flip side be far too withdrawn to bother doing much of anything at all. Well and Id say there are disorders that cause one to only lack one of the two traits, that being empathy and/or remorse. One without empathy but having remorse would be kept in check by not wanting to get in trouble, while someone without remorse but having empathy would go out of their way to avoid hurting people, but if they hurt themselves or get in trouble for having an illegal substance they simply dont regret it. I personally cant say for sure that I have ever regretted anything and the threat of punishment and negative consequences never deterred me in any way, but I cant stand to watch someone else get hurt physically or emotionally.

People on the spectrum of dark triad traits don’t have to be impulsive. Research has almost only been done on criminals. Hence psychologists don’t know ‘normal’ people with antisocial personality disorders. They like scapegoats and devils or in other word sociopaths and psychopaths to be unrealistically evil so it feels less scary and more comfortable. This is a mistake, more normal people with these antisocial personality disorders don’t get diagnosed because of that mistake.
