Hey mate just picked up a pair of the wc freeze in the 90s black, looking forward to replacing my crumbling stock virtuoso ones! Also appreciate the 10% discount
This is gonna be a game changer. I got some arriving in an hour or so from Amazon, I’ll be back aftrr I try them out and leave my opinion. I’m sure they’ll be ravin’ though! My apartment is always set to 62 fahrenheit, but the stock crusher evo pads don’t breathe, at all. 💀💀💀 So excited! :) I’ll leave an amazon review as well! Cheers, and be back in a bit!
Okay, I just tested them on 10 songs, and amazing difference. 💀 The cooling gel is nice, it’s not noticeable after a bit, but it’s nice because it acts as a reminder to take my headphones off and let my ears have a break, but after about 5 minutes when I put my headphones back on, they’re back to cool. I’ve noticed my ears aren’t as sweaty as with the stock ones as well. The material is a lot more sturdy, I can move my head around and not worry about them slipping off my head 😂 I love these! Thanks for making these!
Comfort/freeze: I put them in the freezer for 30mins and OMG it feels sooooo goood on hot summer days! Give it a try! Sound: Adjust your EQs and you are good to go. I don't know why people make such a big deal out of it.
Just got my Street Racer Cooling Gel pads for my Cloud Alpha wireless in the mail, and after having to watch the how to video a time .... or 2 🤣I absolutely love them and since I have a big head the stock pads weren't comfortable for long sessions. These I can tell are going to be great for that, well worth the money, oh and super quick shipping too 👍
For me gel headphone pads are useless. They are only cooler in the first 5 minutes, afterwards they feel actually somewhat more hot. I live in Singapore. On another note, they make the headphones heavier, and the surface of the pads a little less flexible.
I've been using my WC Freeze Earpads on an old HyperX Cloud Alpha S and I'm in love. But I have a question, can I wash them ? I would like to give them a cleaning routine. I am assuming that it will not be ok to wash them in the washing machine. But maybe soak them in hot water with some detergent ? Thank you in advance
I'm deciding on replacement earpads for my qc35 and am wondering if the gel cushions are practical for my use case. I do use my headphones inside mostly but I also do wear them outside. when I work on my truck. I expect form this video that if I'm working outside with them the gel will get hot, my question is in this use case could I stick them in the freezer for 5 minutes and be good or would this use case say a standard earpad is better.
Do you know how can i clean the gel cause the pads started leaking and it got on my shirt plus how much gel does 1 pad have every time i clean it there is more comming out
Some people expect miracles. With the coldest spot on my house today been 82F. I'm not expecting the headset to magically AC my ears. What is the deciding factor for me. Which is deeper, The "Upgraded Gaming Earpads" which I've seen are quite thick. Or the FreeZe. That I haven't seen side by side with other I know how they are. Nor the site has the specs.
I've bougt a pair for my DT 770 250 ohm, just arrived today. I have picky ears and I noticed some sounds are muffled while treble feels higher. I usually listen to orchestral stuff. Do you think this can be fixed with EQ? Thanks!
Everything can be fixed with EQ! I am just not the best at making EQ'S but gadgetry tech made a video about EQ's the MMX300 with our cushions - that might help you out!
ordered a pair from amazon for blackshark v2 pro .. they arrived melted ...i wont go trough the hassle of contacting amazon and asking for a replacement ..wasted enough money .. 30 bux for the pads .. 30 for transport
I ordered these for my ATH M50x, is there any loss of sound quality, in music? I have this fear. Or should I have opted for the leather model? Thanks. Greetings from Portugal.
Not necessarily. These cooling earpads are dependent on the environment, so in humid or hot conditions, the cooling effect might be less noticeable. You can try placing them back in the zip-lock package and putting them in the fridge for 2-3 minutes to reactivate the cooling gel.
I bought cooling earpads 90's white for my nova 7 but now it kinda became yellow~ brownish , do you know how i can get it as white as when i received it ? ❤
It really varies, the more you sweat as a person / how acidic your sweat is. We had people cushions last 1 year, and we had some people did had it last for 5 years. In any case, it shouldn't be less than a year and if it is, we replace it for free. Also, using a clorox wipe once in a while to clean will defintely help
Im planning to buy misodiko earpads for my audiotechnica m40x. There's a misodiko regular and one with cooling gel version. I live in a tropical country in asia (philippines). I am kinda sweaty dude..so which should i go for? The regular ir the cooling gel pad?
First of all, I won't recommend any of them since they are our competitors- so None is the answer. If you want proper pads, try the cooling gel pads from us via hobbydynamics.ph
No headphones are actually good for the gym, but if you want a gym headset- we have sweat covers for the following: XM5 AirPods Max Beats Studio Bose 700 Bose QC35 Skullcandy Crusher
Great video. I’ve always wondered if gel ear pads were just marketing BS or worked. This video confirms finally for me that they do nothing. 70 degree room in summer ? Are you kidding me. First off I’d pay well over $100 more in power to keep room that cold. Second if room was at 70 I wouldn’t need cooling gel as I’d already be quite cold overall. Just a ridiculous to say these work to cool you as long as your room temp is so cold that you don’t need them to work.
70 was just an example, it does not need to be exactly 70 but is fine as long as its in the low mid 70's. getting closer to 80 is pushing it Regardless of the cold, using regular cushions even when the room is 70 will make your ears sweat - gel won't.
This theory makes sense. But I bought a pair a while ago and still have the on my original g pro headset they stey cold every time I have had 3 different sets since and they felt not cold at all. I still love the cushions but I feel like you changed the formula?
You can use Clorox Disinfecting Wipes or baby wipes to clean your earpads. Clorox wipes are effective in removing light odors and stains while preserving the color. Avoid regular alcohol wipes, as they can cause the color to fade. After cleaning, use a soft cloth (like those for cleaning sunglasses) to wipe off the earpads.
