Pods wrapped around a Deployment Object have *SELF-HEALING* capability and Bare Pods/ Standalone Pods DON'T have SELF-HEALING capabilities

Does it depend upon stragery as well self healing capabilty on deployement object manifest like you mention recreate

Self-healing capability is a feature of Replicaset. Irrespective whether it is Recreate or RollingUpdate self-healing works in Replicaset & Deployment
