Remeber, this is specific to IgE allergy. Non-IgE immune responses may be dose related. A tiny dose might not elicit a reaction. Many allergists still are not doing much work with non-IgE responses, but some say they are still "allergy" since they are immune-related, whereas intolerance is generally related to lack of enzymes (such as lactose intolerance which may be caused by Guardia parasite as well - which damages the villi, causing production of lactase to stop until the parasite is gone.)
Akshay Depending in how much I eat of those products, I get big bags under the eyes, tightness in abdomen, itchy eyes, runny nose, coughing, sneezing, mucus in eyes and nose, brain fog, irritability, tightness in back, pain in joints
Milk, egg, peanut, tree nut, wheat, oats, soya, gluten, pollen, cats, horses, hay, barley, dogs, fish, shellfish, crustaceans, molluscs, mustard, and kiwi..... just a few of my allergies! I honestly have so many that sometimes I actually forget some of them 😬 😂 then I have to take a sec to think through the list again lol...... only 19 allergens... 🙄 😔 Not to mention I was 2 months old when I had my first ANAPHYLACTIC allergic reaction, I was rushed to hospital and nearly died. At 2 months old. No one should have to go through that. It’s terrible that I had to go through allergy bullying too, and that people make fun of me, as well as the fact that people think I can’t speak up about MY ALLERGIES and they proceed to SPEAK FOR ME.. how is that ok?
There is a thing called oral immune therapy and I used it for my severe peanut allergy and now i can eat 10 peanuts. Ask your allergist about this for more information.
I am allergic to dairy, beef, pork, wheat, corn, potato, gluten, onion, brewer's yeast (a mold in all vinegars, beers, mushrooms, tofu, dried fruit - raisins, dates, etc) and garlic. I feel so much better... but it's a huge adjustment!
