Wow this video couldn’t have come at a better time cause I’m looking for some good shorts and this helps a lot. Thanks for the review man you really kill it everytime 🔥
I really like the split hem look! I think the loop is for hooking your key on. It’s interesting that they have liner or liner less, I think they do that for women’s too. I hate to admit, but more often than not Lululemon is worth it. The attention to detail is usually spot on!
Great review! On T.H.E shorts you can move the drawstring from the front of the short to the inside using the holes that go to the inside of the short. I bought these for my husband and he loves them! Hopefully that helps 🙂.
Wow I didn’t even realize that, this changes everything ! 😂 and I agree, THE shorts are awesome and very comfortable . thanks for sharing, that as definitely helpful. thank you so much 🙂
Wow, the only downside for me was the outside drawstrings on T.H.E. shorts, but now it’s a no brainer. I also found this feature on my everyday sweats. Thanks for this helpful tip.
Solid breakdown! I'm 5'7 and bought 4 pairs of THE shorts in 9 inch. I've figured out that I should've gotten 7 inch. I'm going to add in 7 inch pace breaker
We’re pretty similar in height so yeah, I think you’ll appreciate the 7” shorts more haha . Otherwise both shorts are still great options, not too many huge differences btwn the two haha. Thanks for the comment!
The linerless T.H.E shorts will always have a special place in my heart because those were my first ever shorts for Lulu lol but this review really nailed all of the differences between the two. I personally like the horizontal pocket of the T.H.E shorts because they hold more stuff but agree that the Pacebreaker ones are more streamlined -- the zip pocket is handy either way though 🔥 another comment asked to review Vuori shorts and I agree with them too! A review on Vuori or Outdoor Voices would be dope too but always love a good Lulu haul 😂😂
I thought about you when I bought the THE shorts 😂 if there is ever another opportunity I’ll need to borrow you to model some shorts for my next shorts video lol
I was so rooting for the Pace Breaker shorts throughout the video hahah. But both of these are such great value shorts. And you have the best of both worlds ✊🏿
I was just looking for a video like this. Thank you man. Very informative and you earned a sub. Gonna grab myself some pace breakers now. Also the Train Hard drawstrings can be inserted inside or outside, and the cord in the back pocket is a key loop.
You mentioned you were looking for a video like this, yet it sounds like you’re more an expert than I am haha, If you or someone you know works in the medical field, I believe Lululemon still offers a 25% off your purchase in-store as long as you show your work badge! I forgot to mention this in the video lol. Appreciate your comment and thanks for watching ! 🙏
Never liked the lined shorts. But in the end THE shorts are more comfortable and versatile. If I’m going to just work out only I’ll chose the pacebreaker.
i never thought about the washing factor for the lined. You're right i dont feel llke i have wash my shorts everyday. But you gotta wash your underwear everyday ! so getting lined would force me to wash the shorts everyday
@@hrrrrrrr2084 yeah I always have underwear underneath . Personally I can’t go commando 😂 and makes for a sweat barrier to help the shorts last longer/stay cleaner
@@kickitwithdang hahaha you tried and hated it that much? what don't you like about it? 😂 though if you have one less layer underneath you sweat much less, thus don't damage the shorts either
Thanks man, glad you found this helpful! I just bought the “At Ease” shorts, which are also bangers lol - probably my new favorite pair of lounge shorts. Not sure if you’re in healthcare or know anyone that is , but Lulu is offering 15% off if you verify healthcare worker status
I got the ivory color and the olive green color. 2 things: I find the lighter colors ones to be a little transparent, like you can see the shape of the pockets, so I do prefer the darker one as it looks less "casual". Also I think I am in between sizes of S and M, I am 5' 9, 172 ibs, and find the small size a little better in terms of stability when I have the phone in my side pocket.
I've been looking for a good pair of shorts. I feel like the cord on the inside of the pocket is for keys to keep em secure while you workout. I do like the vertical pocket. That seems super convenient, you know, for snacks. 😏
I have the 9" pacebreakers. Absolutely love them. Always wear them with underwear underneath despite the liner so I get a few wears out of them before washing.
Yeah my fault, I found that out soon after I made the video lol, and some others have commented this as well . Thanks for the help and for stopping by the video! 🙏
Just know that after 2-3 years of regular usage the THE shorts crotch will fray and holes will develop. This has been consistent across all 5 shorts I've owned over the last 6 years. I still stick with these shorts over every other training shorts available on the market though. The pockets are perfect. They can also be worn casually.
Nice, thanks for the feedback 👍 both of these lululemon shorts have been awesome this past ~1.5 years and no crotch fraying for me yet haha. I am curious about fabletics though so I’m gonna see if they’re comparable to these . Thanks for the comment!
@@kickitwithdang I forgot to add the key point-- take it to a store and they'll repair or replace at no cost. Just be friendly and not pushy, 2 or 3 times they've let me swap out. Once, they repaired. Either way, you get best-in-class shorts for many years of use.
As of right now yes, I still wear them all the time 2 years later haha. I also particularly like the “At Ease” sweat shorts by Lululemon, they’re awesome lounging shorts . Not sponsored btw lol
It’s like a lavender- light purple. Don’t have exact color name because I bought it in store, but it looks like they don’t have this color option on the website at the moment, sorry
