I don't care much about that e-clutch. I'sd still use my clutch on my own, when I want. Nevertheless, still great upgrade!

I'll still take my full manual clutch control any day- a computer overriding my choice of what gear I want to be in sounds dangerous. I really hate modern vehicles, give me a first gen Viper and let me be responsible for myself.

It's not really that much different than a speed/quick shifter. You can disable it and it even says if something happens the default is to be manual. I think something like this can be a huge help in places with high traffic as well as with new riders. It certainly won't be for everyone though, but options and innovation can lead to great things.

@@landonfolken03 yes it's for most riders like tc abs, but theare are few of us who likes to get it right jus by our selfs.

Looks like you didn't watch the video at all. This doesn't do away with a clutch, it gives you the option to use manual or e-clutch at any time. If you're tired or physically impaired or in stop start traffic this could be a great fallback, while still allowing people who want to row their own gears to do that. And the weight penalty is only a few kg. So almost no disadvantages.

nah, you just dont understand the technology of e-clutch. basically e-clutch is just the same thing but without pressing the clutch lever. same as quick-shifter and auto blip to up-shift or down shift. you can also de-activate the e-clutch system without removing it from the bike, also you can just press your clutch lever and manually change your gear anytime while riding. the benefit of e-clutch is for city driving when there’s a huge traffic and you constantly stop and go. it basically ease the trouble of starting from neutral to 1st gear, or 1st gear to neutral for stopping. the target market for this technology is for beginners who are intimidated to try manual bikes also people with less hand and feet coordination.
