There's only 2 GKs who I know of right now that I could confidently say are better than Allison when it comes to their feet, and that's Neuer and Ederson. So I only wonder how it could be considered a weakness to your game if you're among top 5 ITW at that skill.

I don't get why people are hating on Lyes in the comments so much. Sure maybe he said some odd things every once in a while but he was also funny and made the video very entertaining overall. When you're partnered with someone like James who is, I always feel relatively calm and to the point sometimes you need to add a little scotch bonnet to lighten things up a little.

As a Chelsea fan of 10+ years now, we have always done this with youth players.. it’s a business at the end of the day and I understand we aren’t the pleasant on the eye but last year we played with a squad full of kids and a fair amount of injuries still finished 6th

Alison is unbelievable with his feet just Ederson etc aren’t as good shot stoppers as Alison so it goes unnoticed, I’d say Alison is the best GK in the world consistency wise the last 5 years (obviously Courtois, Oblak etc had moments but not in the convo constantly like Alison is)

If I have an “agenda” it’s against obnoxious commenters who slander people for giving reasonable opinions. Playing with the ball at his feet is Ali’s only real weakness. You can argue how good he actually is but it’s not ridiculous to make the argument Lyes made-in fact it’s probably the more sound one.
