What Is The Menstrual Cycle? | Physiology | Biology | FuseSchool
Women, usually between the ages of 12 and 50 years old, undergo a monthly cycle in which their uterus prepares for pregnancy; it prepares for a fertilised egg to settle and grow into a baby.
If pregnancy does not occur, the lining breaks down and is expelled from the uterus. This is known as menstruation.

I believe it's also traditionally called 'the curse' as a reference to the curse of Eve in Genesis (in the BIble) in which God curses Eve that she will have pain in childbirth. A cultural reference, but still worth noting.

Doesn’t the presence of estrogen in the blood trigger the release of fsh or is it the way the video states ( the fsh triggers the release of estrogen )

oestrogen inhibits the release of FSH and stimulates LH because another egg doesn't need to be matured yet.

The menstrual cycle = TORTURE😭💔 I hate this! I’m just in a lot of pain I took medicine and it doesn’t work anymore it just does not help with the cramps or the bloating so I’ll just curve in a ball and sob 😭

This is ridiculous and not correct. Telling people that women go through discomforts like its something we should experience isn't right. These are signs from the body there is a hormonal imbalance. Also calling a period 'The curse' is utterly ridiculous. This is a gift, produces life and should be enjoyed. So many women suffer because of misinformation like this! It is not normal to suffer and hate your menstrual cycle. We need more positive education not misinformation.
