I really like the concept of the ultimate FF. Strong start but got weak later on. One thing I love that came out of this whole fiasco is Reed becoming the Maker.
About 70 issues too long is what it is...was...though to be fair, it is one of the few FFs to acknowledge that Reed is a bad person. Like, seriously, he doesn't think through anything he does, and screws up, a lot, sometimes intentionally when he gets angry or simply stupid enough to do so.
And then Ultimate Reed would become a facially scarred, literally big headed, insane genius trying to kill the heroes years later. But that's a story, for another day.
I actually love Ultimate FF pretty much on par with Ultimate Spider-Man. I felt that after Millar, Bendis and Ellis left Ultimate FF, the series went downhill.
@RB Comics Group Productions I agree with that assessment and the same thing happened with Ultimate X-Men even if that book had its own problems in the first 3 volumes BUT It's considered that the Ultimate X-Men went downhill after the first 3, the later Volumes were rehashes of classic X-Men stories BUT modernized THIS BACKFIRED because it proved that the Writers had no original Ideas and decided to Rehash/Remake classic stories
@RB Comics Group Productions Ultimate FF really went Downhill in the later Volumes and Only got WORSE until Ultimatum ended the book, on the bright side the Ultimate FF would get better stories in Ultimate Comics Ultimates and Ultimate Comics Avengers both Books written by Jonathan Hickman (who would go on to write the Main Universe 616 FF and Avengers comics), And do I even have to talk about how Great/Awesome the Maker was as a Villain and how the event books that featured him were great as well, The Ultimate FF would get their own Yet shortly lived comic run that featured Sue, Ben, Johnny, and......Dr. Doom the latter who was going through a redemption arc and trying to be a hero. Overall the Ultimate FF were Underrated Even if they're comic went downhill after After the first 3 volumes
This version of FF is very interesting I love they are like young adults people say it sucks but it deserves respect especially reed poor dude he didn’t deserve to be evil I really like this version of reed
@@BeauMan2 I agree, Ultimate FF isn't Bad It's Actually Underrated and deserves more appreciation, the first 3 volumes are Great BUT unfortunately it goes downhill In the later volumes
This would be a good MCU adaptation to a movie. Not making Doctor Doom a villain DIRECTLY but for the foreseeable future. and it would pay tribute to the Fantastic Four’s first issue,
I have mixed feelings on this series. On the one hand, it’s kind of forgettable in terms of plot and characterization, and the constant rotation between writers and artists didn’t do it any favors. On the other hand, this series eventually gave us Evil Reed Richards, aka The Maker, aka one of the single best comic book villains to be introduced in the last two decades. So, credit for that, I guess.
I'll bet Dr Doom could do the splits, I'm pretty sure that's a mandatory skill for world leader? Also your voice acting for Mole Man is spot on, so good.
If you enjoy the FF (specifically Johnny Storm) then make sure to check out this video by Russian Comicbook Geek in which I play the voice of the Human Torch himself! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Xx_LpsSCxOI.html
Oh no, you eating a banana while recording should be illegal. Amazing job as usual. Honestly, not knowing this was Mole Man and then the reveal happened was a fantastic
I know it probably wasn't intended, but the whole scene where they were talking in the cave with the ugly mole man was comedic with the ambience and the pauses like it was a skit
If that was really Smokey eating a banana I've gotta say that I'm sorta surprised that he's.....black!?! Also the entire Ultimate line was a great concept with horrible horrible execution.
My favorite part of ultimate fantastic four is the story where Johnny starts becoming encased in a weird shell and they think he’s dying can’t remember if that was under bendis or not.
