Mine would probably be Euthorbia Obesa, not exactly ugly but it does go brown and black and tattered looking, pretty natural for them though and it gives it abit of charm i guess

What a fun topic for the club shows! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but makes me wonder about the criteria. Is it ugly due to inadequate sun, pot, soil, fertilizer, pests, or attention, or perhaps it's damaged but still growing or neglected! Haha 😂🌵🪴 Don't want to spread pests though. BTW, your collection looks great in the greenhouse so happy growing!

I have to laugh because I also have a very ugly hylocereus with exactly the same sort of problem XD Mine was purchased this way as many tiny plants in a little pot I thought was very cute and was before I had learned about jungle cacti at all! So an introduction into my future favorite types of plant but unfortunately it is also a neglected overcrowded little pot just like this! 😆 I'll be looking forward to see how you propagate yours and maybe get some ideas on how to handle mine too!
Oh WOW that you have this same problem with yours too, I think these cacti are sold as seedlings in pots and once they get larger they all grow wild and crowded in the pot, I sown the seeds of mine all in the same pot and I am pretty sure that a lot of the nurseries do this too haha, and I am so looking forward to propagating and pruning mine and I hope it will help you with yours too, thanks so much for your wonderful comment and support and for watching and sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a super Sunday XXXX

I would say the ugliest cacti in my collection is my opuntia argentiniana. It grows all wonky and wants to grow outward rather than upward. I took some cuttings from it, and they are far more well behaved.

Hi! I have a cactus, I can't remember the name of it, but it got sickly looking, s i chopped the top off and propped it. The bottom looks so thriveled and discolored and the top is green but its' soft. They both are soft and i don't know how to get them back on track. Making them healthy. Can you help?
