Today we're exploring a few contenders for the title of "oldest Minecraft world"! It seems like a simple question, but it's actually not- because the further back you go, where "Minecraft" starts and development versions ends becomes a blurry line. So I've gathered a few options for you so that you can decide for yourself what the oldest Minecraft world is.
I hope you enjoy! :D
P.S Sorry I sound gross it's because I was ill and sounded like a chain smoker for like 4 days before I recorded

This is the Moire effect, caused by a lack of antialiasing. The effect happens when a dense repeating pattern is viewed from a distance.

The Omniarchive actually recently archived a world from rd-132328 (pc-132128), when it was still just grass and cobble (plus steve mobs), with a little house built in it.

The 4k world is i think for the 4k minecraft version. Notch made it for a co test to make a game UNDER 4 BYTES. Thats only 0.004 megabytes. It Just was a bunch of random blocks in random places, and you only could place Grass.

I think I heard somewhere that Minecraft was originally meant to be a RubyDung revival but it quickly turned into its own thing. That’s apparently why the earliest versions had RD in there names. Also the version at 1:45 is called Minecraft 4K, basically it was a version of Minecraft Notch made for a contest where you have to make a game in 4K Resolution.

I remember my first minecraft world... it's long gone, my survival world that is. But my creative world? I still got it to this day, technically it's a copy as I transferred computers, but it's a monument of my childhood, I kept my old childhood worlds because, dear gosh they're a nostalgia trip. Such primitive builds, but so amazing.
