Free is always cheaper than paying for something, and with the great free content out there, I've seen golfers make some excellent headway for sure. Glad you are finding value in some of our content. A coach can help speed up a student's progress when it comes to reaching their goals. For example, most people who have never changed the oil in a vehicle before could spend an hour or two watching videos and then buy the oil and parts and tools, then crawl under their car, and most would be able to figure it out eventually. Some might mess it up and create more problems, but most should be able to figure it out. But was the 3-5 hours of their time worth it vs. 1hr with the mechanic? So it comes down to how a person values their time, values instant feedback, proven coaching, and direction. I have no doubt a large percentage of golfers could jump on RU-vid and get enough information to fix, say, a slice. It might take them a month, a few months, maybe an entire season, when a proven coach who has cured thousands of slices could do it in under an hour.

Hey Steve, thanks for the view and comment. What he was referring to is the more the lead hand gets ontop of the grip "stronger" that it makes it harder to release the club path inside the target line. Meaning it will force the path to stay more in-to-out leading to more hook spin if you have the face shut to that path. He's referring to the path of the clubhead not the face being released there.

Hey Rob, Brad Thorberg here with GOLFTEC. Thanks for the view and comment. I love Bruce's swing. I'd say he is far from "over-the-top," but he does come slightly out-to-in and plays a slight pull fade that's very controlled. Golf is very much a game of ranges and angles, and Bruce does a great job of repeating and owning his and keeps it to just a slight angle out-to-in for the most part.

Im not meaning any disrespect or have any disdain for you your company or any human, i respect all the teachers of this great game

Hey Rob, Brad again and I agree! That's what I love so much with the evolution of GOLFTEC. How we map out a plan with our students that is based around their goals and frustrations vs cookie-cutter swings, and it's based on facts. Getting students to their goals ASAP vs just making good-looking swings, is the priority.

You make some good points Jamie that are correct. Brad is a former long drive guy and hasn't put in the work to make the grip change just yet. Goal of this video was more about the hand path as it relates to the "over-the-top" move in golf then so much improving Brad's swing.

@@GOLFTECLessonsFittings I read my comment, and I apologize. It sounded like I was trolling on him. I honestly wasn’t. I was saying it with positivity, because he obviously has an amazing swing, with TONS of potential. It just bugs me to watch a great ball striker, hit the same EXACT miss. Like I say…. All of those shots could be a beautiful push/draw finishing dead center at the target, with a very simple tweak. I absolutely love your content! And you’re right…. This has NOTHING to do with the context of this video. Sorry. lol
