sir, let us assume your logic of cancelling infinity/infinity is correct for some time (which isn't correct obviously) then C should also get power '1/infinity' which is 'zero' then C=1 => V=1

∞/∞ is not defined right? How can we simply cancel it? Also on providing the power 1/∞ on both sides RHS becomes C^(1/∞)=C^0=1 ; So V=1.What does it indicate?

HEMANTH KRISHNAN R : Bhai , if u divide any number to infinity it gives zero because u know infinity value is large value and if u divide any number by large value (number) it gives 0.000000000000000000000122... something ( which is tends to zero ) because denominator is largest number ....... AND if u divide any number by zero its gives undefined value . for eg :- If you divide 6 by 3 the answer is 2 because 2 times 3 IS 6. If you divide 6 by zero answer been be zero but if u multiply zero × zero it will not equal to 6 . so , that's why if u divide any number by zero its undefined term ....... thanks .....

Lol okay okay so canceling out infinities is cringy as frig but I thought about this. If n=inf, then V^inf = const/P So if V < 1 then P = inf. If V = 1 then P = const. If V > 1 then P= 0. This makes no sense. I would say that as n approaches infinity, the P(V) curve gets steeper but it's still a hyperbola. A polytropic process simply cannot be isochoric. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

Guys..... if the right side is a constant it doesn't matter what value it turns into because it is a constant. Same if we were to multiply both side by 1000 or subtract 20(w.e). It is still a constant so V=C.

A) you can't just cancel infinities B) if you could, the your result is still completely wrong. A polytropic process can't be isochoric by this logic. C) that background music is hideous. Please get rid of it.
