Clearly it looks like its being portrait that body building is better than powerlifting (though you haven't told). Like you said Powerlifters are huge because don't diet much due to their mode of training. If diet is manipulated perfectly as per their routine, Powerlifters also can be in good form without losing strength. Plus powerlifter do work on accessories targeting each muscle and volume too!! . Not like you said only on main three lifts!! Both has its own importance.. But from your video it's being portraited that bodybuilders do all the work with volume, strength, endurance and diet and Powerlifters only strength....sad!

It was unbelievable for me, but im doing home workout with concrete rocks n bricks n very slowly, i hv never been in perfect shape even when i was doing gym, home workout gave me excellent lean muscular body
Power lifter also don't focus on loosing fat, hence fewer restriction on diet compared to bodybuilder and their body is never starved of nutrients to lift heavy. Also there is steroids test in Olympics and other power lifting sports but not in bodybuilding.

Completely biased video..... First of all...increasing repetition does'nt always means muscle growth... by increasing the reps the body starts to store more glycogen and water in your muscles...making your arms look bulky.....but it does'nt mean muscle growth. that is why muscle density of powerlifters are better... PS:- when bodybuilders stop working out....the body feels that it does'nt need that store of glycogen anymore.....so the biceps shrink back to thin......if your muscles were grown then your arms wouldn't shrink away and training different muscle strands differently is complete stupidity....our body is made to function various sets of muscles together in a harmonic way....training and isolating specific muscles makes some muscle strand bigger than other and body isint able to use them efficiently.....THAT IS WHY ALL BODYBUILDERS WHEN WALK LOOK SO WEIRD.....our muscles are meant to be trained in a coordinated way not by isolation....
The difference is the first two are based on strength, and strength only, while body building is about looking good, but to look good u have to lift heavy weights

I was doing hip thrust in the gym the other day and my trainer came and forbade me to do that exercise . I asked him, why not to do it ? Hello sir, Is jerk important in powerlifting? I mean if one is able to lift heavy weights In a powerlifting competition without jerk will it be okay or the judges give points on the basis of how the jerk was made - Yashh pant - Uttarakhand, Haldwani
I think jerk or fast bench press or dumbells should atleast be avoided during intial 6 months of thraining. Un necessary jerk will injure muscles and ligaments and will lead to failure of ur muscles building career.
