I loved your explanation of the Sedona method it was so simple to understand and so relaxing and refreshing to let go with your short exercise on the technique! I just felt lighter ! Thank you! 😶
Yes, Celia couldn't agree more. In fact I liked the following quote from your page and that is: Let's resist the urge to seek answers from the outside world. Instead, take a moment and discover that quiet place of inner strength, self-belief, and inherent wisdom.
The Sedona Method is fantastic! So simple, but the results are miraculous. So glad to hear that you have discovered it through Ronda's book. The Method has been around for decades and the community has been growing fast since The Greatest Secret was published.
100%! Yes, Rhonda has been a great influence and helped in pointing people East! I found Lester Levenson, Ramana Maharshi, Robert Adams, Paramahansa Yogananda and many more great teachers because of her new book. It's been life-changing. Nothing really matters when you know the truth. When we wake up out of this illusion. It's complete freedom. Thank you for taking the time to comment. Much appreciated. Blessings.
@@celia_matthews_ That is wonderful - I've heard many similar stories. I haven't read Robert Adams yet - he's next on the list. I enjoy Rupert's teaching a lot and Francis too.
@@SedonaMethodPlus Yes, they’re all very good, aren’t they. Robert Adams was a direct devotee of Ramana Maharshi. I’ve found his book ‘Silence of the Heart’ very helpful. 😊
I'm sorry that you've been having such a difficult time, but so glad that this video has helped you... remember you are never alone. We are all connected. Sometimes just sitting somewhere quiet for a few minutes, taking a deep breath and listening to your breath can help you see things with a new perspective. There's a really good book I've been reading called 'Solve for Happy' by Mo Gawdat, which you might find helpful.
I would love a long guided meditation on this, maybe 30 minutes, where it's based on the fifth way, and the question is simply asked again and again. I can't do this technique on my own. I've tried. I can't mentally jump from asking the question to thinking about it, and answering the question. All the stuff on RU-vid goes far too quickly. They don't give you long enough to feel your responses and suddenly it's over. I would be so grateful. Tysm.
I'm 100% with you on that. You need time and not to be rushed to the next stage. I'd like to offer this video myself but in the meantime, try this one as it was David who I learn this method from originally and used his questions, and his video has much longer pauses which you might find more helpful. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KZd8mSAqhgo.html
@@sonyavincent7450 Learning to let go everyday means we let go of all attachments and aversions and it frees us utterly and completely. Love back to you in New Zealand! Thank you for your comments x
🌷 You are concise, ‘real’, brave and knowledgeable … you’re ‘cutting to the chase’. (saves time :~) Thank you. Just found you; just subscribed. I’m number 443 😊
Thanks so much for your feedback. The Sedona Method led me to Lester Levenson.. if you haven't read any of his stuff or watched him on RU-vid, I highly recommend his stuff, especially his book 'Happiness is Free'. Thanks again for taking the time to comment.
I loved the video and simple explanation. Thank you! How long and/or often should this be done in a day for good results? An hour? Or is it several times in a day?
Hello Celia. Shilpa here from India. I have loved the Sedona method for its simplicity. Are you a trainer of this method. I want to be one. Any idea how to become one. Kindly guide. Thank you.
Hello Shilpa! I'm not sure how you can become a trainer, although I believe that you could find out by searching for Hale Dwoskin. He is the one who teaches the Sedona Method now. I am sure you could find out from him.
Good job. But claims that New York University and Harvard collaborated on research that the Sedona Method is an outstanding technique cannot verified. Can't find this research online. None of the universities have this research on their website. It only appeared on the Sedona Method website and another link which is now defunct. You might want to consider updating your video.
Hi Maria, Thank you for your message. I would really like to do more videos but work is very busy at the moment - I keep meaning to do more videos and I will do more - I just need to plan it in. Thank you for your comment as this reminds me that I need to plan it in. Are there any particular videos that you would like to see?
Hello, I have a some tension or feeling that I cannot decribe (not necessarily bad). I dont have it connected with any thoughts. I feel it in my chest And throat. I dont know why it happens, what Is the reason, or what Is it trying to teach me. But it comes randomly. I always Just try to feel the feeling And release it. And it helps. But I have to do it like 30min/Day for one week. Do you have Idea what it could be?
Hi Vaclav, I can relate to the tightness in the throat, I had that for many years. To be honest, I'm not 100% sure I can pinpoint what it was exactly that released that for me, but I think it may have been the repetitive releasing that shifted it. What I do practice regularly s to sit and be still. It almost sounds too simple and ineffective but for me, this has been life-changing. I'm not even sure it's called meditation - I don't do anything fancy, I don't cross my legs or anything like that, I literally just sit wherever I am, in the car, at my desk or on my sofa/bed etc. I just close my eyes, relax my whole body and put my phone on silent (not in that order!). When thoughts come, just allow them to come and go. If you get caught up in thoughts then come back to being still. You don't need to empty your mind, just be still and quiet and you can watch your thoughts come and go. Don't try to stop them, just don't engage with them. You should start to feel a peace come over you. You can do this at any time of the day and for as long as you like. Sometimes I do this for 5 minutes and other times I sit for much longer. I am completely surrendering to God/the Universe and I ask for God's guidance. Ultimately I want to be the observer of my life and allow life to flow rather than push against life and get in the way. So when things happen that I don't like, then I let go of pushing against it. I've noticed that things begin to change around me... divine meetings, exciting coincidences etc. I hope that helps. You could also speak to a qualified psychotherapist - I have found this helpful too - sometimes we have unconscious core beliefs that need to be re-framed and a trained psychotherapist can be very good at drawing these out for us when we can't see the wood for trees!
Hey where is the another video you were talking about 😅? I'm loving your videos and your accent. You should upload frequently. You've been gone for 3 months.
Thank you so much - I felt release even when mind tried to keep me from my heart. I acknowledged and thanked the protection then was able to drop back down to my heart and the discomfort and pain. I found the ability to feel into the waves of resistance and stay with it. This moved into growling, crumpled face and rocking whilst breathing into the feeling. I watched it morph, from fear to anger to sadness. Then shame. The hardest feeling of all for me to recognise. Almost fully touching compassion and love I was able to sense a holding the inner wounded child in me. I could allow that to be ok without getting lost in the story.
Yea Sedona Method there's a few techniques on the original course (tapes that's how long ago it was). There was bring up the feeling is it wanting Approval,Control ? Security and Survival and could you let that feeling go or could you allow it to be the way it is ?.Oddly the David Hawkins book is good but doesn't really share any techniques . Also Larry Crane did a course on Releasing which like the Sedona Method was based on Teachings from Lester Levenson (on RU-vid).The techniques are good and obviously derive from Buddhism teaching of being the observing witness in life not the limited human mind .
This is a very clear refresher on the method. I fell out of practice but will start again. Yours was the first RU-vid I clicked on the subject and enjoyed your presentation very much.
Hi .I am aware of this technique of the Sedona Method ( the pen and the three questions) and have found it useful with my clients .. however please clarify : What else is there in the Sedona Method? Are there any online, genuine and reasonably priced courses available online? I am in Mumbai,India. Thanks in Advance
I liked the feminine perspective. The Sedona method is helping me through a difficult time with my daughters illness. When I wake up with fear thoughts I accept them rather than trying to push them away and I am able to go back to sleep.
I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter. It's good to hear that you are able to welcome and allow the thoughts to be. I've found these techniques work very well, especially during challenging times.
Hey Celia - I loved this presentation on the Sedona method. Since posting this you've disappeared. PLEASE COME back. You're presentations are great. Don't stop ... we want to see more of you. And I'd love to hear from you directly, by all means email me on my business email. I noticed that your business email appears to have disappeared :-(
Thanks for your lovely comments! 🙏 I wasn't sure how useful they were to be honest, but I've had some really nice feedback so I'll look into doing some more. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks, I'll have another video to share. 🙂
Great video! I know this is random, but are you able to share what music you're using in the background? I found it really peaceful and would love to listen to this more often. Thank you!
Glad you found it helpful. There's a full video on these techniques which you might find helpful too: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CADTkM1aoP8.html
One question about this video - from one who LOVES this stuff. She opened saying that welcoming wasn't working consistently, yet all the methods that followed seemed to be welcoming. Can anyone help me on this?
How long do we allow?? I have been sitting with this uncomfortable feelings for a year now but no success... I really want to get that freedom feelings back
I’ve found that there are layers with some feelings… throughout the course of the day, whenever that feeling is triggered practice welcoming the feeling, not trying to push it away or hoping it will go or hoping it will change. As you practice this, you should find the feelings begin to release. We have pushed feelings down for so many years and, like a pressure cooker, these feelings build up in pressure and will look for any chance they can find to be released. We don’t want to go off like a pressure cooker and hurt people in the process! But, I’ve found that as you practice welcoming these feelings, it gets easier. It felt unnatural for me when I first tried it, but now I do it all the time out of habit. I did feel a ‘blockage’ with a feeling once when I started this process… perhaps that’s what you’re experiencing at the moment? I just kept welcoming and letting go, welcoming and letting go. I said out loud, ‘I welcome this feeling’ then when I felt ready I would just let it go. If you are still struggling with an uncomfortable feeling, I’d recommend watching any of Hale Dwoskin’s RU-vid videos or read ‘Happiness is Free’ by Lester Levenson. This is how I learnt the technique and it’s utterly changed my life. It’s a continual daily habit now… I hardly think about it… it’s effortless. Any time I feel an aversion or an attachment to anything, I just welcome it and let it go to prevent any build up of unwanted feelings. It’s incredibly freeing. I hope that helps 🤞
Thank you...its amazing how you actually put effort to reply and explain so nicely..it has moved me ,it definitely shows you are a nice, genuine and kind soul...subscribed and looking forward to learn and heal my trauma 😊 🙏
Glad it helped. If thoughts and feelings return later on, go through the steps again. But, many thoughts and feelings are phantoms and will try and come back. In my experience, the best thing to do is say ‘this is not true’ and soon it will disappear. They are fakes.
@@arroganceparadox3012 Yes... the feelings that come up, if you allow them fully to come up and go through the steps then you should feel a relief at the end. Even laugh... sometimes I’ve found this happens a little later on. If not, then go back through the steps. 😊
thanks for the video but still feels for me a little difficult because i have so many struggles right now with my mind and body. Like chronic fatigue extremely with depressions and inflammation
I'm sorry to hear that you have been struggling (I'm also sorry it's taken me so long to respond). Something that I have found helpful, is to sit in the quiet - ideally where you can hear nature... maybe some birds singing, or you could play something soothing to listen to... or even, just have the silence. Sometimes we need to be quiet and listen to our inner voice. I find it helpful to count my breath up to 10 and then again and so on, that way my mind isn't racing ... and when my thoughts wander off.. I come back to counting my breath. Life is so chaotic and I think this can help to give us some peace and also clarity. I also think that Wim Hoff's breathing techniques could be worth looking at. From reading many of the comments on his RU-vid videos, it sounds like he has helped a lot of people who struggle with their body and mind.
