That’s because most Black people around the world share a bond through similar interests, struggles, joys and we love to know how our brothers and sisters around the world are doing. And African Germans are arguably heard from the least within the diaspora community. So moving to Germany it was interesting to hear them speak about what challenges and opportunities they have and it is very similar to Black British, and other Black experiences around the world so I wanted to talk to them more and share with the rest of the diaspora as well as Black Germans to build a stronger bond and unity.
And don’t worry. I am not here to encourage African people to move to Germany. On the contrary I really hope one day ALL Africans and Caribbean’s can find their way and hearts back to Africa and/or the Caribbean. Once we get rid of our lazy uninspiring leaders and the outside powers that ensure they are in power for their own economic benefit. Most of us will be out pretty quick. The weather is much better, the food is fresher and the people are friendlier anyway.
