To identify God, here are the characteristics of God in Islam: 1. God is only one. 2. God has no beginning and no end (beyond time and matter) 3. God has no shape. 4. Nothing can be compared to God (so, if you say a human is God, it's false because human face and body can't be compared to God) 5. God has no parents and does not begot. So, any human or human-animal figure is not God, include statues. We can't imagine the face of God (Mosses faint when God let Mosses see His face) because our mind is limited. Before God/Eloha/Allah/God/The One, there is nothing because there is no time before God. God creates time. So, if God doesn't exists, time doesn't exist too, then it seems unlogical to ask "what comes before God". Hope that helps! I pray to Allah to give hidayah/guidance to all of the mankind. Let us go to heaven together! Insya-Allah.

@seek mogol The eyes of the stone can be created by Allah. These are the things we don't know; it is in the knowledge of Allah. But, it might be a metaphore also. We don't pray to Ka'ba. The Ka'ba is the direction to unify all Muslims in prayer. We can step on Ka'ba, no problem, because it is not our God. We pray to the unseen Allah. Allah is unseen through our limited mind. For Buddhist, they won't step on the deities because those are their gods.

Another interesting note, is tafsir of Al-Fatiha. In it, you will find that the claim of “those who earned Allah’s anger” are the Jews-because they had knowledge but lacked action (did not follow it). It then says that “those who are astray” are the Christians, as they have action but their actions has no evidence nor basis of knowledge.

Paul doesnt contradict the law. The person who is led by the Holy Spirit who is love because he is God fullfills the righteous requirement of the law Romans 8:4. which is to love God and people. Jesus makes it clear that ALL of the law and the prophets hangs on the the first two commandments Matthew 22:40 Therefore not the least letter of the law has passed away. Matthew 5:18 If you keep Matthew 5:18 in context and continue to read Jesus is saying that the fullfillment of the law is a heart change. He takes the 10 commandments and makes them broader and deeper and a matter of the heart. Your righteousness surpassing that of the pharisees means that you start obeying from your heart and not just external obedience and he expects more from us.. ....eg love your enemies... You cant change your own heart. The Old Testament prophesied in Jeremiah 31:33 that God would create a new and better covenant where he would write his law on our hearts... Hebrews 8:10 is the fullfillment of that... Hebrews makes it clear that Jesus is the author of a new covenant written in his blood that has a new legal constitution (Hebrews 7:11) It also says that the old covenant Mosaic covenant in fact) is obsolete Hebrews 8:13. As Jesus said, no-one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again John 3:3. The person who is born again and is led by the Holy Spirit fullfills the law, and the whole of the NT shows us what it means to walk in love. It is our union with Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit that will save us if we put to death the misdeeds of the flesh by the Spirit. Romans 8:9 You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. 10 But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you. 12 Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation-but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it. 13 For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, 14 because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. ************ The new testament needed a new legal constitution as the temple was no longer required, Jesus had become the fullfillment of the day of atonement (Leviticus 16) where there was no sacrifice for sin without the shedding of blood. This means that we can approach God in a new and living way and know his presence which has been my experience. The way of achieving righteousness was now from an internal change and also Jesus said his kingdom was not of this world so christianity has no geographical land, in fact the kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:21) until the consumation of Jesus kingdom which will be on a new earth put back to how this one was originally created.

The New Testament is no where near to what the Quran references. The Quran says there is a GOSPEL of JESUS. Where is that Gospel? Nobody knows....I would also like to add that the Old Testament is a compilation of various books, and the Torah is one of them, but there are other books about Prophets and Kings.

Paul had to change the teaching of Jesus and ignore the old testament due to peoples’ resistance to Christianity. People back then thought Christianity was a very hard religion, and that gave Paul challenges to convert people to Christianity. It’s for that reason that we have a watered down version of Christianity today.

..na, the whole point of christianity and the New Covenant (testament) was that we need a heart change. That the OT law on the outside of you wont be enough to save you... Hence it is prophecied in Jeremiah 31:33 that God would create a new and better covenant writing his law on our hearts... fulfilled in Hebrews 8:10.

Excellent video! When you speak with rabbit Tovia, ask him about how practicing Jews cannot even step foot in a church due to the polytheism, imagery, idolatry found on the stained glass, statues, etc. For this reason and for the trinity, one could gather that Christians in modern day don’t EVEN follow the 10 commandments as they don’t even get further than the First.

This is what always made we wonder about Christian Understanding, a Man called Jesus, says to you, don't break the laws, and then you claim he says until they are fulfilled, meaning his death and resurrection, so Jesus told the people and his disciples not to break the laws or teach against them for 1-3 years? does this make sense? then as Paul points out in several videos, we see Jesus own disciples following the law later in Acts of the Apostles Peter, James and those we are told about all of them, nicely staying in Jerusalem practicing the law, its an amazing revelation in the Bible which no Christian even bothers to glance at, and for me that is the true meaning of blind faith. Jazak Allah Kheir.

Perhaps the greatest argument against traditional understandings of Christian theology is Matthew 5. Once you really read it and think about it, the arguments that the Apostle Paul and even some of the disciples themselves make, takes on a whole different meaning. I do not recall any instance when Jesus Christ said to reject the Mosaic Laws and begin a new religion. In fact, Jesus was reforming Judaism to clean it of the filthiness of the Pharisees at the time, reminiscent of Judas Maccabee cleansing the temple of idolatry. Jesus also cleanses the Temple from those who would treat it as a marketplace, and rebukes the Pharisees who are allied with Rome. It isn't until his ascension to paradise that we see this new movement of ignoring the old Laws in favor of the spirit alone.

I would like to elaborate a bit from my understanding on the the verse of Quran that you have quoted. 1. Note the unusually long term for what he is an affirmer for: 'What is right in front of me from the Torah'. In my opinion, he knew what was in front of him was not only Torah, and he was endorsing only the Torah portion. 2. Note the passive voice when saying 'some of what was prohibited to you'. Jesus knows how to say Allah or Lord, yet he did not say 'what Allah prohibited', 'what your Lord prohibited', or 'what Torah prohibited'. Since he is already affirming Torah, he cannot contradict affirming by permitting prohibitions from Torah. Then this prohibition according to me is from what is not Torah, and rather from authorities like Pharisees. Matthews 12 seems to uphold the above understanding of mine, in the case when Jesus defended the hungry disciples for eating from grainfield in Sabbath, and when Jesus explained to Pharisee in their synagogue how doing good such as healing is permissible in Sabbath.

This issue is down to two misunderstandings. 1. Covenant theology precludes the Law applying to non-Jews. We know this as the whole point of Mosaic Law, that is, the benefit attained from observance of the Law, is for Israel to be God's treasured possession. It does not apply to those outside of Israel; in that way it cannot apply to Gentiles. Indeed, in order for people to gain blessing by the covenant they have to convert to Judaism so that their children may come under the covenant, but they themselves cannot. So Jesus' teaching on the Law is a message for the Jews. Indeed, Jesus makes it quite clear that his message is for the Jews of Israel, and though he does have dealings with Gentiles they are very few and far between. In this context it is clear that the Law continues, but for Jews and not Gentiles. You have to go one stage further than that in order to extend the requirements of the Law to non-Jews. But this does not mean God does not have dealings with Gentiles; just that the Law extends so far but no further. For example, the Centurion whose slave Jesus healed - can we assume the Centurion (or the slave) were adhering to the Law? No! Of course not! But faith saw the slave healed at Jesus' behest. This is the background to Acts 15, which you repeatedly ignore. 2. Ephesians 2:15 does not see Paul claim the abolition of the Law. Not as such. What is abolished is the line of division between Jew and Gentile. You cannot read 2:15 without reading 2:14 first. In addition you cannot read it accurately without first understanding the division put in place by some Jewish converts who regarded themselves as still separate from Gentile converts and who treated the latter as second-class citizens as a result. In fact, 2:15 makes little sense unless you read from verse 11 onwards to verse 20: "11Therefore remember that you once were ethnicities in the flesh, the ones being called the uncircumcision by that being called the circumcision in the flesh made by hand- 12That you were at the time separate from Christ, alienated from the citizenship of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, not having hope, and without God (godless) in the world. 13However now in Christ Jesus, you once being far away have become near in the blood of Christ. 14For He himself is our peace having made both one and has broken down the middle barrier of the partition (fencing in), 15Having annulled the enmity in His flesh, the law of commandments in ordinances, so that he might create the two in Himself into one new man, making peace; 16And He might reconcile both in one body to God through the cross, having slain the enmity in it; 17And having come He preached the gospel of peace to you who were afar away and peace to those near. 18Because through Him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. 19So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but rather you are fellow-citizens of the saints and of the household of God 20having been built up upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the cornerstone, 21In whom the whole building being fitted together is increasing unto a temple, holy in the Lord, 22In whom you also are being built together unto a habitation of God in the Spirit." [Literal Emphasis Translation]. From this Paul's intent is clear. He is drawing Jewish and non-Jewish converts together in order to deal with the division caused by Jewish converts separating themselves from Gentile converts and using the Law to do so. It is the enmity between Jew and Gentile which has been abolished, supported as it was by those who believed that observance of the Law set them apart from those who did not. Paul was not claiming that the Law itself was abolished - we know this from Acts 17 where he specifically performed the Temple rituals with four new Jewish converts. This is one case where the NRSV doesn't do justice to the underlying Greek. Verse 14 flows into verse 15 in the Greek, but the NRSV separates them. This in turn happens because the RSV does so, whereas it would do better to follow the example of the KJV and NJKV which conform more to the pattern above. The Amplified Bible does a much better job: " 13However now in Christ Jesus, you once being far away have become near in the blood of Christ. 14For He himself is our peace having made both one and has broken down the middle barrier of the partition (fencing in), 15Having annulled the enmity in His flesh, the law of commandments in ordinances, so that he might create the two in Himself into one new man, making peace; 16And He might reconcile both in one body to God through the cross, having slain the enmity in it;" Here it is clearer that it is the enmity between those under the Law (and covenant) and those not under he Law has been set aside, rather than the Law itself. So your interpretation - not to say that of many - is both inaccurate and unhelpful. One side issue is that applying the Law to non-Jews is adding to the Law itself, which is expressly prohibited in the Torah, and is something which Jesus Himself warns against. So in effect Muslims claiming to be under the Law is itself breaking the rules of the Mosaic covenant. In short, you can follow the rules of Mosaic Law all you like, but if you're not Jewish it will avail you *nothing*. Nout. Nada. It is merely a self-conceit and self-deception. If you want salvation as a Gentile you are looking to either the Noahide covenant or Jesus' covenant. But Muslims are all too often ignorant of the former, and actively refuse the latter. On that basis it ill-behoves any Muslim to criticize Christians for their relationship to Mosaic law, when Christians operate under the New covenant in Jesus, whereas Muslims don't operate under any divine covenant whatsoever, but like to pretend that they do.

It is clear that the message of Jesus was a real revolt against the scribes and Pharisees, priests of the Jewish temple, who monopolize the Torah and benefit from the name of the Law of Moses and They themselves did not adhere to it; And since the conditions of prophecy were available in Jesus, the priests resorted to the war of rumor and media distortion. They released the rumor of the Son of God, then accused him of it to justify their denial of him, and then they brought the Apostle Paul to complete the mission

Many Christians interpret Matthew 5: as temporary(until all is accomplished) until Jesus pbuh fulfills it. Paul's passage follows after the fulfillment of the law by Jesus pbuh. Paul stated law was fulfilled (I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.) abolishing is a later result by fulfilling the law and nailed to the tree. Also resurrected Jesus pbuh who was taken to heaven in Rev 3:12 confirms that he has a God. 12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. Now in Aramaic God is Elaha, Alaha close to Hebrew Elohim.

The verse where Jesus is quoted as saying that nothing from the Law will be abolished would seem problematic to Pauline christianity, but it would (at face value) also seem problematic for Islam, because Islamic Law has abrogated some of the Law which can be found in the Old Testament. Such as the prohibition of camel meat. How to solve this?

Ephesians 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; This is the same as in Col 2. Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days The annual sabbaths (see Leviticus 23 for annual sabbaths) were a shadow of things to come, but not so with the weekly sabbath, which pointed backwards to God's work of creation and rest. And the weekly sabbath is not against us, but is a delight. Isaiah 58:13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: 14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. Also for the, "ordinances that was against us" or the enmity of the law of commandments contained in ordinances, we read: Ezekiel 20:24 Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers’ idols. 25 Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live; The ordinances that were blotted out were given, in part, because they polluted the God's sabbath. Thus they clearly didn't include the seventh day sabbath. Also I would point you to Deuteronomy 31:26. The handwriting of ordinances against us were in the side of the ark and written my Moses. However the ten commandments were on stone inside of the ark, under the mercy seat (see Exodus 25:16,17; 31:18; 32:16; 34:1,28,29 ) Deuteronomy 31:26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee. In Matthew 5:17-28 it is the ten commandments being spoken about. Likewise in James 2:11,12 James 2:11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. "Love is the fulfilling of the law" Amen! Romans 13:8-10 hits the nail on the head. Although it doesn't touch on loving God, but only our fellow man, we know that the two are inseparably linked. And "fulfilling" in verse 10 is from Strong's G4138, which is a noun, coming from the verb G4137, which is used in Matt 5:17. This means to perform as a matter of duty. But we know that our duty is also to "love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.", as Jesus said in Matt 22:37. How to do so is given in the first four commandments, while here in Romans 13 it was the second table of the ten commandments that was focused on. Rom 13:8-10 in no way though removes our duty to also love God. Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Romans 13:9 starts with "for". From the Strong's Greek Lexicon we have "1063. γαρ̀̀ gar gar; a primary particle; properly, assigning a reason". Thus these things in verse 9 are necessary for loving others. Matthew 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. So if doing the duty proscribed in the second law of love, "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself" means that it is our duty to obey the commandments listed in Romans 13:9, which come from the second table of the ten commandments, then what of the first and great commandment? Clearly loving the Lord our God with all our hearts, and with all our souls and with all our minds makes it our duty to obey the laws of love on the first table of the ten commandments. When Jesus was asked what was the great commandment in the law, he didn't come up with some new law; he quoted from the Old Testament. Deuteronomy 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Leviticus 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD. In Mark the account is worded a little differently. See Mark 12:28-31. Anyway it is clear that Jesus was quoting from the OT. How important are these two great laws and the magnification of them in the ten commandments, and the even greater magnification of them in the teachings of Jesus? By the way it was prophesied that Jesus would magnify the law and make it honorable. Isaiah 42:21 The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable. In Luke 10:25-28 we see the importance. "And thou shalt live" (verse 28) meaning to "inherit eternal life" (verse 25). So this is vital. Also in Luke 23:54-24:1 we have an historical account, under the inspiration of God. He didn't say, "and rested the sabbath day according to what they thought the commandment was". He said, "according to the commandment". The sabbath commandment was still in effect after the cross, and it was still the seventh day. It was never nailed to the cross, but the annual sabbaths were nailed to the cross. In the book of Acts we see that the weekly sabbath was still kept, by the Gentiles even. Note: we aren't saved by keeping God's moral law, but if we are saved by grace through faith, then we will keep it. There is an exception of ignorance, which God can wink at (Acts 17:30), but there will be a time when all will either take the mark of the beast or keep the commandments of God. (see Revelation 14:11,12)

All of the teachings of the old testament and the new testament are true. Jesus is literally the only begotten Son of God. The only true (meaning original) God is the one mentioned in John 17:3 and he has a literal begotten Son, as can be seen in Proverbs 8 and elsewhere in the Bible. The Quran denies this, as far as I have heard, and if so is wrong and promotes a false god. While the trinity is also a false god, and unbiblical, the Bible is true and the only begotten Son is divine. Just like I am a human being because my father is a human being, the only begotten Son is a diving being because his Father is a divine being.

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.” - Matthew 5:17-20. Jesus is basically saying: “I am not here to abrogate the Torah, but to confirm it. In truth I tell you, as long as heaven and earth endure nothing will be gone from the Law until all that must happen has happened. Whoever decides not to follow even the smallest of the commandments will be in the lowest rank in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps all of them and teaches them to others will enjoy the highest rank in the kingdom of heaven. If your obedience to the Law is not greater than the Scribes and Pharisees, then you can not expect to enter Paradise.” There is no heaven for you if you are not better than the Jew! Are not the heavens and the earth still intact? Therefore, the Law is still in effect and must be followed.

If you continue to read Matthew 5:18 and dont take it out of context he is saying the fullfillment of the law is a heart change.... Jesus takes the 10 commandments and makes them broader and deeper and a matter of the heart. Unless your righteousness exceeds that of the pharisees means that you do things from your heart and not for external show... We cant change our hearts, therefore God created a new covenant that would write his law on our hearts.. by being born again... by recieving what Jesus did on the cross... that he would create such a covenant was prophecied in Jeremiah 31:33 in the OT and fullfilled in Hebrews 8:10. No-one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again John 3:3

Yes sir. Very true. It is Paul who declared that 1)all the laws were for Jews and not the Gentiles and ; 2)in order to enter into heaven you only have to believe in the pagan concepts never propogated by Jesus Christ (May Peace Be Upon Him) of --- a) Jesus Christ (May Peace Be Upon Him) being the son of God and ---b) Jesus Christ (May Peace Be Upon Him) dieing/being crucified for the sins of humanity more commonly known as salvation. What this means is that there is no Divine Code of Conduct for mankind on the basis of which right and wrong can be guaged. So man can do as he pleases. As a result we have legalised homosexual marriages , single parents, lack of family values, an increasing lesbian/gay community,etc,etc in the west. The doctrine of 'soverignity belonging to the people' and not to THE CREATOR, BENEFACTOR,THE OMNIPOTENT AND OPNIPRESENT -- ALLAH ALMIGHTY is also the ultimate result of Paul's pagan teachings.
@JuliexSteadman
@JuliexSteadman 3 года назад
"..As a result we have legalised homosexual marriages , single parents, lack of family values, an increasing lesbian/gay community,etc,etc in the west." No its because the West is now mainly atheistic... ....when this was a christian country it abided by the NT teaching and you didnt see such things... Paul is not saying you can be lawless. He is saying you are only NOT under law if you are being led by the Holy Spirit who is God, such a person fullfills the righteous requirement of the law, (Romans 8:4) to love God and people (Matthew 22:40 - all the law and prophets hang on those two commandments... In Romans 8 he makes it clear that if you dont put to death the misdeeds of the flesh by the Spirit you will still die... ********** What is required though is a heart change as prohecied in the OT in Jeremiah 31:33 that God would create a new and better covenant and write his law on our hearts... fulfilled in hebrews 8:10. ...but most people are atheists in the west..
