Not sure if you realized, but all of those gentlemen were Geoff Castellucci, just with really good make. He's got a ridiculous range of about 5 octaves; all of his solo videos are of him harmonizing with himself, with similar great video editing to multiply his images. (He does the video editing himself, too, along with the arrangement of the vocals and music. It's almost unfair, for all that talent to be tied up in just one person. But we're lucky he chooses to share his talents for free on RU-vid.)
Geoff's voice is so smooth throughout his vocal range. Very soothing as a rule. His latest, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, is another wonderful arrangement, and in that one you can see it's all him. :) He also recites poetry and short stories in his wonderful deep soothing voice.
Great reaction!! Geoff is the bass singer for acapella group, 'Voice Play' which is more like musical theater (Pentatonix is all genres but more pop oriented while 'Home Free' is more country). I am a 'Pentaholic' (Fans of 'Voice Play' are called "Voiceplayers" while 'Home Free' fans are called "Homefries") but I have been a huge fan of Geoff for a long time now and love his solo work. All 4 men in this were Geoff as he often does his own arrangements with 4 part harmony and harmonizes with himself in his other videos too. Geoff went to college in Orlando and worked for Universal so he is great with this style/theme of music and his Halloween solo work is so much fun! Glad you enjoyed him and hope to see you react to more of him.
I completely agree, you can get lost each time in his bass line or in his harmonies! Geoff's voice is so rich in the low notes, and so smooth throughout. It is mesmerizing. You would probably appreciate the 'Little Mermaid Medley' by Voiceplay - every member is outstanding, but Geoff steals the show as an evil, seductive blue Ursula. (Plus he takes a rock scream down to the basement)
Nice reaction sweetheart I'm glad you liked it and I hope you reacting to( sixteen tons, black bird, monster mash ,the headless horseman and house of the rising sun)from him and the song is from the hobbit sang by the dwarves 😊hope you are having a wonderful day😘❤️😘
Its so inspiring see you be honest and vulenrable, i love your real and and reactions to things, and seeing you get soothed by something is soothing to me too.
Don’t know if you recognized this as the Dwarves song from The Hobbit. Geoff’s voice is so smooth. He does a lot of readings as well. His reading of Visit from St. Nick is beautiful. His Christmas offering is God Rest ye Merry Gentlemen. He once again clones himself. Some call it the Geofftett or Geoff and the GeoffTones.
Grown man and veteran here. Da-n near collapsed into tears st the profound, heartfelt beauty of this tune. Rich with myth, history, fellowship, uncertainty, loss, hope.
this was insane. Melinda Kathleen Reese does music like this too. I would really like if you could also react to some of her songs and covers too. She also has a second channel called Twisted Translations where she uses songs and random topics and putting them thru Google Translate and its hilarious hearing what it comes up with.
He also does a great job with Blackbird a Beatles cover in which he sings five part harmony. I'm sure they all told you this one guy in four different costumes.
You need to listen to his other songs like Blackbird, 16 Tons, and with his group Voiceplay. Songs like Oogie Boogie Man, and dozens of others. They like to do musical and theatrical songs along with Disney stuff.
A wonderful song from the Hobbit. Have you considered reviewing a Lord of the Rings song by Annie Lennox "Into the West". It is played during the credits of Return of the King and is very moving. The back story of the song is it is dedicated to a young man that died of cancer who worked on the set of the Lord of the Rings movie by Peter Jackson. Please consider doing this.
This is bass singer in voice play. I listen to them, Pentatonix, and home free they are all amazing. I think in my opinion home free has best beatboxer. I think the bass singer in home free is tim I maybe wrong but I think he is deeper and clearer.
