My brother got a bacon iron from a second hand store, it's like an old hunk of cast iron you put it on the pan to get warm then put the bacon between it and the pan.

Last item looks like a tool used to turn lamb's wool into felt. I have a new one. I use a plastic foam pad to jab into a wad of wool the needles poke the wool and pull some of it up so the wool gets all tangled into a sheet of felt. if the needles are smooth tipped, then maybe not for felt.

I am a woodworker who buys from small Mennonite sawmills and I agree it is a lumber rule for calculating number of board feet in a board. The sawmills I buy from use them.
