If I remember correctly, the only reason people wanted these two to fight was because both characters used a substance named venom. Other than that, there's no other similarity between the two. This is actually something you need to remember about Death Battle, they don't just pick characters out of random. They either pick a match up that so many people want to see (Goku vs Superman), or ones that have a similar theme to them (Kirby vs Buu = pink monsters).

Bane is a really great Villain, easily one of the best characters among Batman's Villains. However, he is just absolutley not in the same league as Venom. He is absolutley terrifying within the streets of Gotham City, but put him in the same streets as Spiderman, and Venom would most certainly beat him with relative ease.

Just want to remind you Natsu vs Ace comes after Power Rangers Vs Voltron. I really have been looking foward to it and i hope you will watch it

Yeah, you watched Tigerzord vs Gundam Epyon, but that was more of a 1v1, this next fight is a 5v5, the OG Mighy Morphin' Megazord vs the original 80's cartoon Voltron.

Bane is one of my favorite villains ever, but this fight was just sooooo unfair, they're not even close to be on the same level, maybe, maaaaaybe, if Bane had time to prepare and strategize against Venom, he could've won, he's like Batman in that aspect, better when he has time to make a plan.

The funny thing is, when Deadpool bonded first with the Venom symbiote, he actually wanted it *off* so that his insanity wouldn't affect it. Also, despite how bad Venom is, Carnage is worse - because he bonds on a cellular level, and is even more powerful It even lasted to annoy another Spider-Man all the way in 2099

Even crazier thing about the Symbiotes is that each consequent generation starts of more and more powerfull then the last This normally wouldn't be a problem since, like they said, they're normally a peacefull race But a corrupted Symbiote like Venom has a high chance of spawning an offspring that's even more violent and crazy like Carnage, so that's a HUGE yikes....

This was no contest. Venom could have switched bodies if he needed to. Raw strength means literally nothing against Venom, you can't injure Venom with simple physical attacks.

It’s kind of this whole thing. XD Gladius is from Killer Instinct (previous battles you saw with KI characters were Riptor, Kilgore, and Black Orchid). He’s an alien that also manipulated ice. Captain Marvel vs Android 18 is rife with research failure. I don’t understand why but the DB team simply CANNOT get Dragon Ball character’s research right. They straight up give her abilities she doesn’t even have. XD Metal Sonic vs Zero is one I was super hyped for, but the battle animation isn’t very good sadly. The sound design is the worst, and the visuals are only adequate in most parts.

Also I feel like a more even fight would have been bane vs kingpin their both fairly even physically and their both super skilled fighters who've taken down metahumans before

15:52 Spiderman is stronger than most other "enhanced" superheroes like Captain America and The Winter Soldier, but he's not stronger than more strength focused heroes like the Hulk or Thor. Spidey holds back all the time because he can easily kill a person with single punch to their body or head. Bane displays strength at least on the level of Spiderman

Good news. This is the last episode where the "Next Time" only shows one character. So now the previews reveal the whole match up.

You could say this episode is mostly a personification of Bane vs his addiction to Venom, and well, he lost against that

God one of my favorite Spider-Man villains vs one of my favorite Batman villains. Neither are my true favorite but damn it when this fight came out I was EXCITED. Spider-Man is FAR more my childhood than Batman. So I’m always pleased to see a character show up. Kyle what superheroes do you have a past with? Mine was the 90s Spider-Man. Which is where most of the cartoon footage came from.

If he thought Venom was insane just wait until he sees Carnage.

It's was funny you mentioned Hellsing Abridged. Because the voice actor that plays Enrico Maxwell for Hellsing and Cooler in the DBZA movies, is voicing Bane in this.

Fun fact, there was an arc where Bane found information that brought the possibility his father was actually Thomas Wayne, making him and Batman half siblings. During that time Bane actually helped Batman fight crime in Gotham. Until they got the results back and disproved the possibility.

To be very clear: Venom and all other Symbiotes/Klyntar are NOT parasites, it's litterally in the name, they're symbiotic with their hosts, they both benefit from eachother, not parasitic, if they were then Venom would just devour Eddie and not help with anything, instead of eating OTHER things with phenethylamine in it, like chocolate. Being parasitic would actually be counterproductive considering Klytar are normally pretty vulnerable without a host.

I have a theory that it's an unspoken rule of Death Battle (or universe in general) that anytime there's a DC vs Marvel battle, in 90% cases DC character wins... unless it's a member of the Bat family and/or member of Batman's villains list, then in 90% cases they lose.

I would imagine the reasons for this battle being conceived are: "Well, one is a guy that gets super strength from a drug called Venom while the other is a guy with super strength NAMED Venom." Duck, why are you assuming Eddie was bad when he was publicly shamed, he wasn't bad from the start, he had one of the tragic-comic book backstories ever. Before he became Venom and right before his father disowned him, he was strict with Eddie because his (the father's) wife died in childbirth, Eddie was drowned to guilt because when he was a teenager, he stoled his dad's car and accidentally ran over/killed a kid, was fired by the Daily Bugle (which is a journalism company that Spider-man was working as a photographer) because of Spidey, got into a divorce, being disowned, and worst of all, he had adrenal cancer (which is kidney cancer). If you ask me, this was the worst animated DB. I lot of clips were cut out, but never fixed, so it is hard to find the unedited version where the scenes make sense. Also, way too dark and too many unnecessary zooms.
