I wanna come back to this cause i bought one a month ago and i would like to say thank you, I wouldn't have not known about this product if i hadn't come accross this video. its the best thing ever! It feels very good to use.
I was planning on buying one of these for my setup I’m in the process of building but didn’t know if it would be worth it, if you don’t like them, can I have one 😁😆. Damn, bro returned them 😭
did u find solution for the palm problem i have it too , i am wondering what to do , i got the k100 from corsair , and Glorioud model D, the k100 has angled mat , not sure its the best idea
I went with ergonomic keyboards. Using the Sculpt for work and Kinesis Advantage 360 for personal use and bought another Kinesis for my workstation to replace the Sculpt. I have videos on these keyboards.
This set up is old. I also feel like I moved the monitor higher up to more easily record the video. This was so long ago I don’t really remember though.
I think I'm the only one who just focused on how the monitor with the arm will fit the ikea gaming desk 140cm 😂 . You solved my problem now I will buy the g9 + hx arm. I have the same desk 140cm size no need for upgrade to 180cm👍👌👏
I'm Vietnamese and I don't know many common English words, so I used google translate to be able to talk to you. Currently, a website in my country has registered to sell the 2.0G version but I still have questions. Can this 2.0G version be able to remove the cord from the armrest and use it as fluently as the 2.0 version? I hope you can answer me soon, thank you very much and wish your channel always grows...
Mine took about 3 days or so to get used too, but I love it now. I still get some thumb strain if it isn't positioned just right, but it's definitely better on my hands/wrist than when I raw dog the mouse.
What ended up helping my wrist pain was desk and chair height as well as switching to a more ergonomic keyboard, which helped me unlearn some of my bad typing habits.
@@techbrojoe On paper it sounds like it could be a good product but I wasn't in the market for it. I only heard of it as they sponsored a Linus Tech Tips video and thought, hey that might be worth a gander. I agree making other adjustments such as with the chair would be better than this. Good video. Most times these kind of videos talk the products up like they're the best thing since sliced bread. I was half expecting to be sold on it by the end of the video but it was refreshing seeing an actual honest vid.
@@BadBeardDude Appreciate the kind words! The goal of the channel is to never be a shill no matter how big the channel gets. Was it Gamelinked from this week? I saw it last night if it was and thought oh hey I reviewed that.
They’re just some random foam ones made for the Embody. I got them on Amazon. They’re not bad since I think the Embody arm rests get really hard as they age.
Idk man, I've been using mine for about a year and it worked great for me. Took me some time to get used to it for sure but not everything can work for everyone I supposed, I never use my setup without one now as I've justg gotten so used to using it by now that it is basically an after thought. I also don't know why you're using the left one on top of another rest that kinda seems odd to me, I drink all the time at my desk... I just take it off and slap it back on no problem as I already know where it needs to go be placed. I feel like a lot of the knit picks here are more just that, knit picking and less about how the product is.
Without the wrist rest this keyboard is too high for me to type on comfortably. I don't use this keyboard or mouse anymore and have some videos I'll produce since I went on an ergonomics journey the last 6ish months. I'm glad the Carpio is useful to some people, but I still do not like this product for me. It's okay to have different opinions.
@@techbrojoe I too have embarked on a recent ergonomics journey, and this Carpio 2.0 arrived today. My immediate thoughts are that it feels odd and that I might need to return it, but I'll give it a fair go as long as I can stand it. Cheers, thanks for the video.
@@blodstrmI hope it works out for you. It’s worth a try for sure. My set up isn’t too crazy, but I have a video planned for my mouse and office chair nowadays. I went over the keyboards I use in my newest video. K860 for my personal PC and a Microsoft Sculpt for my work.
