Time is conscious and breaks itself into discrete parts in order to register its own process. All creatures live at different speeds physically as required by individual experiences yet all exist outside the physical realm where immortality is our true nature. I'm fascinated by the duality of time and wrote this a couple of days ago by coincidence. Enjoy. Mean Time The frequency of Life is forever Confined in the ever present Moments in Time Where yours becomes mine As we spend in between In Heaven The scale of Death is fleeting Dashed by the intermittent Cause and effect The lives we select Outlast all our deeds In Hell Back to back confrontation Life and Death split between Hither and yon Before all is gone Revealing what's there to be seen Is what you really mean These words mean nothing to no one Except for myself to be sure The meaning of life Requires substance of strife To make our existence more pure Against madness for which there's no cure I leave you with no more to endure
Party time can indeed appear to be more real than the tedious time gradient of the normal living process. But even the most enthusiastic ‘party goer’ will sometimes not be in the mood or have more pressing matters to attend to. And, of course, the party always ends. Real time is real because it’s forever present and not restricted to just the physical world of sensory perception. Real time also supports the other side of existence where life and death unite as both hemispheres of our immediate reality.
