That totally depends on the market situation, and there is nothing like airlines offering type rating, they either ask you to pay upfront for it or deduct it later from salary
@@TheFlyTuber so after getting CPL should I wait for 3 to 4 months or immediately do type rating? And also if I do a320 type rating as you said they will deduct the money from salary so will they deduct full amount or it will be like EMI?
Sir just in case one (only cpl holder with no typerating) is selected in the airlines then the total amount payable to the airlines for typerating includes the airline training cost or not?
An Indian pilot does not need it to fly for the airline (unlike in the USA where you need it atleast to fly for the airline) but you cannot become a captain without an ATPL in India

International flight doesn't depend on type ratings ..it depends on the airlines that routes it operates...if you airline operates only domestic routes you won't get international flights

In this market where airlines are hurting for pilots no one should have to pay for the type rating ,if airlines want you they must pay for it.. and you guys promoting that one should get type rated themselves is what's wrong with aviation and why things are the way they are , we screw things up for ourselves things weren't like this always until one smart guy with deep pockets came along and said i'll pay for my type rating so that i will get a job before other guys..
24*7 what I mean is you should become a pilot if you are so passionate that you dont even think of planning how many hrs you will study... you just do it coz its intersting I used to be in my flying dreams even when I was driving kuch samajh aaya ?
YEAH IN FLYING THET TEACH YOU. TO FLY CESSNA BUT TO GET A JOB IN AIRLINE YOU HAVE TO GET TYPERATED YOU CAN DO IT AS SELF SPONSORED OR THE AIRLINE WILL DO THAT
Nop, it is not true, that is PPC which is done every 6 months and is required fo lr pilots currently flying in airlines. Your rating is valid for 3 years
