man i love volvox. as an artist, i think the shape is really interesting to me! BUT!!! this was a really informative video about how volvox came to be, and now i’m also interested in its predecessors too!

Do they sense the same wavelengths of light as they use to photosynthesize? Would they react as well if the light source came from the bottom of the tank? If you put it in a maze of mirrors and a light at the end, how fast would it solve it?
