@@TechUnGlued just one question please: i saw you mentioning the switch in vsan config to enable RDMA support (which can improve performance) however what are the requirements for this? I mean is there also some config to do on the uplink physical switches etc?? Thanks again
The adapter needs to support this. Check this link.. www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/search.php?deviceCategory=rdmanic&details=1&vsan_type=rdmanic&rdmanic_releases=668&page=1&display_interval=10&sortColumn=Partner&sortOrder=Asc If is does then you can enable it at the cluster during or after install. you can check here. Select the Cluster > Configure > vSAN > Services. Under the Network section, click EDIT and enable the RDMA support Hope this helps.
