This is a very hard word for me to share. But enough is enough. Imagine getting Church wrong for 2000 years SMH. The book of Acts paints the picture of the church, unfortunately, the modern Western world did NOT emulate it. We need to stop being bullied by the cloth, just bc someone is in that position doesn't mean they're always right, Acts Churches are coming back. There is no perfect church, I completely understand that. Christ is the Head, Holy Spirit can move on the individual and on the Body corporately. That's why the biblical principle of the plurality of Spirit lead elders guiding a church needs to be reinstated and the ability to contest on issues that are repeated.
Silence of falsehood is as great an evil as the falsehood itself. So, we rebuke right now the "spirit of the vicar of Christ" over God's precious Church.
This is not true Christianity, instead, it's dead religion, and religion means division and control. You stay there and I stay here. Keep your distance from me, for I am the "all chosen one". A controlled brotherhood. A one-man theocracy vs a One God Theocracy.
Here are five very powerful giftings and callings our Lord gave to the Church that we really don't hear much about today sadly. All of these ministries were intended by the Lord to help and prosper His body, not utilizing just one or a few, but all five giftings, together, equally, in beautiful collaboration.. and in reading this passage I see six key fruitful effects of these ministries:
1) For the perfecting of the saints.
2) For the work of the ministry, to equip His people for works of service.
3) For the edifying of the body of Christ.
4) For the unity of the faith.
5) For the knowledge of the Son of God.
6) Attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
When Jesus said in Mt 16 that He will build His Church, He meant it would be a church of hope, love and unity, a church that would be encouraging one another, and that would build up the saints in Christlikeness, and teaching them about Him, and then ultimately be used to train up for His service in their various giftings and callings. And so the Lord knew what He was doing when He implemented the five-fold ministry into the Church, to help and promote the building of His Church.
It is so powerful how each one has its own distinct role that produces such amazing fruit in the body of Christ among us as follows:
"The riches of this world are deceitful and uncertain. Let us be convinced that they are truly rich, and very rich, who are rich in faith, and rich toward God, rich in Christ, in the promises; let us then lay up our treasure in Heaven, and expect our portion from thence."
