Same,I love cats but my parents refuse to get one,I recommended a Maine coon because those were their favorite breed, but they said no,but I understand why, here's why: Either because their broke or they can be to much trouble, mostly because their messy.
Thank you for the video! My cat has never done the chirp, chirrup, or chatter before for some reason. He only yowls if he is about to puke (sensitive stomach and a fast eater) or if we take him in the car. I also wanted to say that I finally tried clipping my cat's nails like you showed in an older video. He actually loved it and purred the entire time :)
Hey always good to see your comment! Haha maybe some cats prefer the chirp or chatter more. I have noticed for the chatter it happens when there is a squirrel or bird. And I am glad you were successful with clipping your cat's nails :D
"Our house cats tend to think of themselves as an infant forever" 😂😂 So true, they do tend to be a toddler for life to their guardian affectionately ❤️❤️
Hey can you maybe upload the links to every single product you use for your cats in the about page of your channel or something like that. I dont care how you do it, but I for one will find it very helpful. Thank you!!!!
Thank you for sharing 😊❤️ I love the chirp sounds my cats make when I touch them unexpectedly! It’s super cute 🥰 and also when one of my cat meows in the morning and no sound comes out 😆
My ancient ragdoll now yowls when she thinks I should go back and nap with her. She spends most of her time these days, age 20, wanting to sleep. A few years ago, I had 3 cats, all best buddies. Although the younger two were younger than the ragdoll, both ended up having to be put to sleep. The yowls from the surviving two (and later, just her) were heart wrenching, and loud, and usually occurred mid night over several nights - cats do miss their companions!
Hello. Thank you for your comments. Would your Ragdoll mumble? I have a Ragamuffin who mumbles rather than meows. Thank you for the reply. I appreciate the information.
Can you please release a video on your cats favorite toys? Preferably one that covers some toys you can use to play with your cat and some they can play with on their own (if you're out or busy). My cat loves automated toys but I have a real hard time finding good ones. Thank you, love the videos.
Hello The Cat Butler! I am also a newbie ragdoll owner. I wish to know how you keep your cats’ neck so clean and white. My cat always lick his neck so wet and become yellow, so that i always put a napkin on him. I know its not a good idea. Please let me know if u have any solution. Thank you, love ur videos!
Hmmm good question. Is the food a yellow color? Or is there plaque build up in the mouth? If those aren't the issue, and you think its serious maybe have a vet check it out. Never had a yellow color on the fur before, but I brush their teeth every day and feed them raw meat. Hope that helps!
Thank you, this is helpful. My now eight month old kitty tends to cry when I go to bed. It was worrying me, but it seems like she's just looking for attention. It's definitely the attention kind of cry, and tends to come quite rapidly. I'm trying not to respond to it, as I don't want to reward the behavior but my goodness, it's hard to ignore her fluffy highness.
Again, so brilliantly described, so useful information for all cat lovers. Thank you for sharing, thus, shows your cats are so happy and look so healthy because they have a caring, devoted knowledgeable DAD 🙏💐🇬🇧
My oriental short hair communicates with a bunch of squeaks, she never "meows". My tuxedo cat only communicates with "meows". And my Maine coon communicates with a variety of "trills and chirps". I have had feline family members all of my adult life and have spent a lot of time working as a foster parent with several feline rescue organizations. I love your channel and you provide plenty of useful information for cat guardians. Keep up the good work!
My cats answears to yours, at the beginning of thé vidéo in thé middle Minouche comes to bite me. I learned a lot of cat,s vocabulaire in your vidéo, I knew all these sounds. Minouche hisses a lot , I Heard Willow doing this only one time, when he escaped from.the harness to fight with a stranger cat in thé middle of the road..
Oh my other cat Mao she had this wheezing fit, but she was growling afterwards, but she was happy. I don’t know what was going on someone about wheezing and then like growling. I don’t know what she was growling at her My other cat growls out of my butt, but I don’t know what my cat was growling at she I think that was at her throat. I think because she stop it. It was it was I don’t know what it was.
My girl cat Shiloh is a little odd in that sense. Her "I want something" meow (like if she wants food or to be let out) is so raspy, we joke that it sounds like she smokes 50 a day! But she's capable of a more normal sounding meow, usually if her attention is drawn to someone or something.
Yeah Meena doesn’t growl at me ever well maybe she growls when she’s in heat. She growls when she is in heat, but that’s just at her own, butt that’s it. That’s the only reason she growls and I try to just massage where it’s coming from.
My cat bandit he peer when he’s in. There’s one specific spot that he loves to be in when I love his belly and everything when I pet a lot just he’ll do it. it’s very very sweet.
My cat I think she yowl at me when she is in heat like whenever. She’s whenever she doesn’t know where I am and she did that all night one night she does that a lot and he when she just has no idea where I am for example, one time I was playing that with my mommy and then Meena was doing that I said hold on my baby needs me she is my baby. The cat is my baby.
My cat named Marshmellow he is feral, but not the hissy Ferrell he just runs away from humans but about after two years of not being able to get remotely close to that cat I got the pet him
I absolutely adore this video. Watching the reunification of your kitties family is so endearing! Where can I buy the hats your cats are wearing? So, so cute!
I'm cat sitting for my daughter. I have her cat Mia who is almost a year old. She loves to be in the window and check out my backyard. Today she perched up on the window sill and saw our neighbor in his backyard for the first time and gave out a loud, deep guttural growl. She became very intense and growled again, then jumped down out of fear. I was surprised and couldn't decide whether she was defensive or afraid, or both. My previous cat who passed last month due to illness would growl sometimes too at this same window lol. Love these videos!
Awe your kittens look similar to my Binxy boy he is also white white with orange but he has a little more orange color to him and they are fluffier! So sweet! 🧡
Teemo and Arya are so damn gorgeous! They are absolutely beautiful. Ollie and I have full-on conversations. He rarely meows, but he mumbles. The tone of his mumble changes depending on if he wants dinner, playtime, or just board. He will lay on his window perch, and I'll come up to him, and I'll say, "Hey," He will reply with a little mumble. His dinner mumble is a bit longer and has a higher tone, and his "I'm board" mumble is pulsed and low. Ollie has never been in a situation to hiss. Thank you for the great video, as always.
I just accidentally came across this channel . It is the best channel for cats lovers, providing such a useful advice. I wish my cats eat raw food diets like your two beautiful Ragdolls. I have two Ragdolls from different family. They are 6 months apart , such a difficult relationship at first. But at the end they seem to agree to love each other. The boy younger is the most difficult eater cat in the world ! He does make me in tears try to make him eat, both cats refuse to eat raw food, cook food just want to eat dried commercial food please kindly advise how I could change their habits to eat raw food or wet food. We are in London , tried all wet food available in market and end up had to donate or throw away because they don’t eat. Thé boy is one and half year old , girl is two they are healthy , and most, lovable beautiful as Ragdolls could be . I love them dearly, they are part of my life. But their eating difficulties drive me round the bends . Your advice would be much appreciated. Mom of Yonina and Mikha 🐈🐈💐🇬🇧
Hi Pat again thanks for the kind words! Yeah Commercial Dry Food is VERY addictive. They add a flavor enhancer that cats really like. The best way to transition your cat to raw food is to start small. Add a little bit of raw meat at first and mix it with the dry food, then slowly add more raw meat over each meal till the raw meat is more than the dry food. Also get your cat use to eating on a schedule vs free feeding. Getting them on a schedule they are more likely to finish their food during meal team. Hope that helps!
Thank you, I did tried many times, it didn’t work because the boy is a determined cat , he prepared to starve himself 24 hours! Waiting for dried food , I eventually had to give in. 😹
My old cat would always yowl at me the second we went out the door to go to the vet and didn’t stop until we got home 😅 The snarls and growls also reminded me that with my two cats, I always have to buy 2 of every toy or one of them will take it away from the other and growl 🤣
it started from watching how to make your cat used to water, then it went to future planning for cats, then now i feel like im watching for entertainment you’re amazing!
Hey so it was a customized cat tree. pettreehouses.com/store/tree-houses.html It was the sycamore tree with a lot of extra leaves and some customization.
@@hanss.5291 I looked for videos of cats chuffing and can’t find one! I will have to try to record her but it is never for that long so I will have to be quick☺️
So both my female cats that I have owned do this half suppressed meow to communicate with me and other hoomans lol.. When they would communicate with each other it was different. But the female Balinese I just lost would do these Mrp, mrrr, mrp, mac, ma, mac. Lol. People loved it when she would talk to them. AND she would talk to you if you turned to her and said something. Like if you would be like “Man its nice out today!!! Don’t you think Isys?” And as long as you were looking at her and she heard her name she would just Ma ma maaa. And as long as you were looking at her and talking she would answer you with those cute meows Lol.. But when she got into shouting matches with my moms cats she would use her full voice. Now this baby ragdoll does the same thing. She squeaks when she meows to me. Sometimes only opening her mouth and letting a little bit of air slide out in a almost noiseless squeak lol.. But go into the bathroom without keeping the door cracked and those cute squeaks turn into barks and full meows that can cut through the door. LoL I think cats have evolved over the years like domesticated dogs have developed that muscle between their eyes thats makes them look cute to humans that no other species of wild K9 in the world has. I think cats have evolved to look cute to accomplish the same goal.

I have been given the opportunity to adopt one of these above ragdolls... What would you suggest l need to know? I have previously only had a small dog! However l have decided to swap to cats after my dog died ...🌼
Good question! I made a video on things you should know about ragdoll cats in the video below. Ragdolls are truly an amazing breed that you won't regret! Things to Know Before Getting a Ragdoll Cat - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4hY_RdcDYek.html
The Yowl! I didn’t know there was a name for it. Goodness do I know that one too well, unfortunately. Only my male cat Dyce ever yowled. And he would do it once in a great while when Isys was in some secret snuggle hole somewhere in the house. He would yowl, she would come to the rescue and we wouldn’t hear it for months, even years. But when Isys died, Dyce now paces the entire house searching for her and yowls dozens of times a day. I took him to the vet and they said he is mourning for his lost litter mate. But its been almost 6 months and he still does it every single day and night if I leave him alone (which i usually did at night because my cats like to jump up on the bed and sleep on me lol. So after isys passed and he kept doing it for months and months we got him a baby Ragdoll to play with to see if that helps. It HAS curved his crying some but he still cries all day and night, just not so frequently when the baby is all beebopping around the house. So I have to keep him in my room at night or else he will wake up the entire house at all hours of the night. It just shows the heavy lifting Isys was doing to keep Dyce calm. Now he wants outside, on the screen porch or in the garage all the time. We think because he is still searching for Isys. Sometimes even crying to get out and walk around outside. Which he was afraid of for the longest time because when he was about 4 years old he popped out one of the screens at night and went outside and fought a pack of friggin raccoons. So when I saw your kitty in the video sitting by the screen I had flashbacks. I hope your cats don’t do the same thing. For the longest time he would run if someone opened the door, probably remembering what happened. But now he always sits by the door and yowls to get out. But i am worried here in Florida he will get fleas so I try not to let him out much. Just on the screen porch. But I guess I should get a good flea treatment and indulge him. I am going to get a harness and leash this weekend and try walking him to see if that curves his yowls. I see you let your cats outside, do you have to worry about fleas? Its a problem here in Florida so i was wondering what system you have in place to keep those little buggers off your beautiful kitties.
Enjoyed your comment. I am glad the baby Ragdoll calmed Dyce somewhat. So usually the window is open with the screen when I am watching or in the room. Otherwise it’s closed most of time. In terms of fleas i think it’s dry California and I’m in a city so it’s rarer. But otherwise I inspect the cat keep them away from wild animals and give them a bath with I suspect there are some unwanted friends on their fur
My one kitten heard the yowl and came running meowing straight to me thinking I was sad or stressed and lay next to me purring. My cats tend to yowl when I leave and close the door, my female cat can't stand it when I'm somewhere without her or when she can't find her brother then she start yowling for him.
Oh WOW!! I have that Fuax fur blanket your cats are playing with at 1:24. I bought it for myself to match my bed comforter. They are the Fuax fur Ugg comforter and blanket set. Super soft satin on one side and fluffy furr on the other. My cats LOVE this blanket and kneed it any chance they see it out. When I brought my little baby ragdoll home she slept with me on the couch with this blanket and now when she sees it she has to go kneed it lol.. I got this adorable picture of her when she was super small in a big bunch of ruffled up blanket fur poppin her head out of the middle like “Who is that?” Lol.. SO adorable!
@@TheCatButler it’s gotta be that. It probably releases oxytocin (the cuddle chemical) in their brains like humans. But its so funny to watch any of my cats interact with the blanket. Even my moms cats when they come over. Her cat Jemma loves that blanket. But the baby lol, she will be flying around the house just for her to fly over the blanket and stop dead in her tracks to kneed the blanket. Going from a super excited kitty to a relaxed little fluff nugget. Her eyes almost closing all the way. Its friggin adorable.
