Just took the quiz. I scored 21 and as expected B1 level. I am going to follow your suggestions and practice more. I am scared to talk. Scared where I will make mistakes in grammar. But I will continue learning and improving.
Language is a tool, and it needs to be used. So, you must practice speaking with real people. Don''t be afraid of making mistakes! If you don’t try, you don’t make mistakes. We learn from failure, not from success. 💪
Wohooo! I am impressed! Bien joué! You should definitely join my French French training next week. I will teach all about the vocabulary you need to sound more French. If you are interested, let me know and I will send you the link 😉
Just finished the quiz. The quiz focuses on reading comprehension. I’m not that good at reading & writing because I focus my effort on listening and speaking. I scored 20 which is at A2 level for my reading comprehension but I’ll continue my focus on listening and speaking which is more fun to me.
It's great to focus on listening and speaking, as most of the people focus on reading and writing! For me, I learn languages to speak, not to write books ;)
Je viens de passer l'épreuve et j'ai gagné 33 points. Parfait pour mon niveau actuellement de B2. Merci mille fois Pearl🤞 Auparavant, je n'étais pas très sûr de mon niveau mais maintenant je le sais.
the quiz played to my strengths because i did a few courses in reading french specifically a few years ago although some of the details of prepositions and which/that terms (i forget the grammar term) have escaped me, so I was a B1. pretty sure my vocab and speaking would be lower though 😅
I would say listening is the hardest for me. People have different accents and speak at different speeds. Just like English, we use slang or other words that may not be common to that person trying to learn English. I got an A2 but I would start with A1 just to refresh myself.
After on and off studying French for 12 years I got what I expected.. A2... Yup.. In school all i knew was grammar, and couldn't speak. Now all I focus on in vocabulary and speaking, so my grammar is really bad🥲 At least I know i can do it, and I know I'm not far from B1, I just have to keep going!💪 Also this really gave my English a nice ego boost, because it sounds like I'm C2 in English🥰
@@MyFrenchStory Bonjour Mademoiselle/Madame. I have no any specific time. How can I learn French from you. There are many in our country, but mostly I notice their R pronounciation. Which I didn't find satisfactory.
24/42 so I got b1! It tracks- I moved to France for 3 months and starting learning there. My trip got interrupted by the pandemic but I still retained some stuff i guess :D. I don't understand french grammar very well but I can get the gist of what's happening and people understand what I'm trying to say.
She left out "Level C3" which is the level where one understands the 4,583 different relative pronouns and their 234 different uses. This issue has me very discouraged in going forward with learning French. I guess I have reached my "Peter Principal". Seriously though I wish there were a 5th choice for the answers - " I don't know". In order to complete the test one has to guess at the hard ones and you automatically have a 25 % chance of being right. If one was to be real lucky in guessing these hard questions one could easily be rated higher. I think I was one of those. I got a B1 but in reality I am A1 or a very low A2.
I struggle with writing, it’s so hard for me, it’s quite curious because I feel confident to speak fluently but when I have to write the ideas disappear
This is very common as most language courses focus on reading and writing, but they don't give you the right tools to improve your listening and speaking ;)
Hi, I've just taken the quizz and got 39/40 and C2 level. However, I don't feel like having C2, probably due to the lack of practice. I have no one to talk to. Nice channel, by the way :)
It will come with practice! When I was learning English I was just like you. I could not speak on the spot and I could not understand spoken English… but I kept practicing (by listening to English audios and by forcing myself to speak with English speaker) Don’t give up. I promise you. You will get there! 💪❤️
30/40 and B1. this is pretty much the level that I thought I was at. I'm hoping to obtain B2 within a year, hopefully this isn't too optimistic of a goal. thank you for the test :)
