How does SimplyUnlucky make so much money. he does nothing but youtube, duel links, and open expensive cards and I'm over here with a full time job barely making it
Go back to his first videos, you don't just wake up and get over 50k views on all your videos. People love to complain about how RU-vid is easy but they themselves aren't willing to sacrifice their time to make daily videos and not get anything out of it. It's an investment and good for Simply Unlucky that all his hard work payed off. He's been doing this for over 6 years.
Well keep working hard at that full time job like Roman did with his RU-vid, and you'll impress your boss and get that promotion/increased wage that you want. And if you don't, then you'll find a way to figure it out if you keep working at it.
The current format is already fast-paced enough without Synchro, XYZ and Pendulum. I'll admit I haven't played the game at all since XYZ were new, but I know that Synchros and XYZ monsters made pace pick up from when Fusion and Rituals were the most advanced things. If they add any of the stuff from the newer seasons (5Ds and onward), then all duels in Links would last 2-3 turns at most.
The character abilities are a big plus. Even with a limited collection so far the game is so fun to play, can go hours without putting it down. Nothing like a good Hungry Burger + Ritual weapon combo for the lol's.
One thing that I really like about this game that's not talked about often is how there are no ads all over the place. For a free game (besides buying card packs) that's jammed packed as it is, that's really impressive. Kudos to you Konami. Also this game reminds me of the old GBA YGO game Worldwide Edition: Stairway to the Destined. Loved that game and still have it to this day.
I’m 29 (born in 92) and I grew up playing yugioh, saving the money I could and trying to be a good player I actually got to a really good place, before greed got the best of me and I stole a friends card (Parasite Paraside) His older brother then stole ALL of my cards haha: I had a Dark Themed Strike Ninja deck, and a water deck with the legendary Fisherman focused on the field card “A Legendary Ocean” I say all that to say I have no idea what Duel Links is, and I really appreciate this kind of video
For some reason, I like Duel Links more than all of the Tag Force games. Opening packs feels more exiting to me than any other Yu-Gi-Oh! game I've ever played, and I love the classic feeling duels! Btw, before I watched your channel I didn't know about this game. Thanks SimplyUnlucky! :D
THANK YOU for this video. PLEASE make more DUAL LINKS videos. This game got me back into yugioh after not playing it in years. Before I played this game I didn't even know how to play but this helped me learn quickly and now im playing it all the time lol I love how easy it is. I use to think yugioh was real complicated (mostly because of the syncro cards and the black cards etc etc) but this is slowly easing me back into the game. I'm learning more and more about how to play yugioh as I play each day. I'm currently at Stage 15
I downloaded the game yesterday, and spent maybe 6+ hours on it. its super fun and old school just like you said! I personally would love to see more duel links videos!
Got this just yesterday and damn it's beyond fun to play even with the limited 3 monster and 3 spell and trap zone. Makes it more challenging with the limited zones
I use Mako as a dealer myself but have 3 x suijins, 3x unshaven angler 3 x High tide Gyojib and I must say with spell cards like stray lambs and big wave small wave you can summon constantly Suijins.
I really like this game and prefer it over the actual TCG. Its nice using a machine to play. That way there is no mistakes on rules and how cards work. Honestly, this is how the TCG should be played. Its a lot more entertaining to spectate fights on Duel Links than TCG duels.
The best way to go around this till you get to the higher levels is to make a spell caster deck using Yami yugi he's better than kaiba and buy ultimate rising packs since it has the best beginner cards and it has element magician and a spellcaster equip card as rare cards then after you get the basic srs like Wonder balloon and the greed card start buying neo impact to get cards like mirror wall and equip spell cards
Recently bought legacy of the duelist, and I'm having a nostalgia blast long after dueling network's shutdown. Now duelinks comes out and you're telling me all these xyz pendulum present day style of playing isn't a thing yet. Not to mention the ranking system in pvp..lets goo
its like konami turned back time and its all the classic characters are back and all of the sudden yugioh is back to its original glory thx for the video keep it up its awesome
I love that this game exists on my iphone so much. I almost uninstalled it because it was way too easy and dumbed down at first. The ai opponents and decks were absolutely horrible. But I'm super glad I held on because after awhile the ai opponents started to get a lot better once I leveled up a bunch. I followed some advice from a couple of youtube videos and made myself an Amozoness deck...and while it's not amazing...it is free and has given me a deck I can use with pvp which is awesome. Plus I've got a bunch of staples now which feels great (so far I'm at 3x Canadia, 2x Floodgates, 1x Karma Cut and 1x Cosmic Cyclone); And I'm only 1 week in! I'm planning on staying free to play, and I'm already having a blast!
I think that they will eventually add in the other types of summons down the road. But I dont see them adding pendulum summons since the board is limited to only three active cards at a time.
Really wish they'd make something like Dueling Network or DevPro officially. No BS unlocking, just everything available and free dueling. They could even have ads or whatever, and I'd pay to have a premium ad-free version.
I am not lieing but I can't belive your doing very well on youtube Honistly I watched you when you were at 90k subs I didn't have a channel at that time but I've always remember your channel ever since
definitly would like to see more yugioh duel links videos. and wanted to see if you have checked out duel generations its official by konami as well however its more traditional style playing with synchro and xyz summoning. good job with all the videos roman i love the content
I remember sitting in the theatre and everyone saw the ad type thing with Seto talking and everyone was freaking out thinking it was the movie but then he talked about this game and everyone starts laughing n stuff X3
I'd say wait on age of discovery buying until you unlock Meiko Tsunami, water cards are great but they really need the Umi card to have a consistent experience
BEST GAME ever to be honest you can buy card packs with real money to get something a bit faster but its definitly not a must be so the first game on a mobile phone i know which isnt P2W :) i like it
My 9 year old nephew (who's a die hard Pokémon fan) put me into this game after I told him yugioh cards are better than Pokémon cards 😂😂😂 game is awesome, pvp ingame voice chat would be awesome!!
Mako Tsunami ftw! He's the honest reason why I have a love (and hate) relationship with pure water decks. Unfortunately, I cannot get this game because my phone is a tech dinosaur (Samsung Galaxy S2) so it's not supported by this app.
BEST GAME RIGHT NOW. Especially since Im too old to play with my friends anymore, (they dont play anymore). Is there a rarity scale somewhere? Im somewhat new to YuGiOh (played it many many years ago and slowly getting back into it) I want to get rid of some cards but I have no idea what is the difference between ultra rare, secret rare, etc. and is there a price guide somewhere? Not sure how much they are worth.
SimplyUnlucky do more videos on this!! And also, what is your username on there so I can be your friend. Plus, I always wanted to duel you! I am Archunter on there btw
I hope they take it till 5ds or Zexal, but I doubt Arc V would happen cause of no MP2 , all I want are the new blue eyes eyes support and also to play with a blackwing deck x3
go get some of the three card packs at dollar tree I only bought three and got two blue eyes ultimate dragon's and a dark magician of chaos 1st editions don't know their value but easy finds
Great video! The PvP in the game doesn't really pick up until you reach Gold Rank. Until then, it's pretty straight forward. Also when it comes to packs, I've been told that Ultimate Rising and Age of Discovery will be rotated out soon... so buy those for now if you want any cards from those sets.
MisterCross Yup i heard that aswell... I think 19th february or something those packs are gone :/ I prefer Ultimate Rising, because there are all Cards for a Karate Kid OTK :D
I'm trying to make up my mind if I should go after him or Michizure. Both cards are staple cards in almost any deck, but I don't think I can get them both in the limited amount of time I have left, sadly. The problem is that while I think Michizure would be more beneficial for my playstyle, there isn't really that much else in Age of Discovery which would benefit me. Ultimate Rising however have other useful cards that I need, like Wonder Balloons, Sonic Bird etc...
Exactly! I can feel you and i have the same problem, but i already have 1 Sphere Kuriboh and think i should go for Michizure :/ Now my problem is, that i also have no Wonder Balloons and Sonic bird , but i already bought many packs from Ultimate Rising so the probability is higher to pull the last good cards i need from that pack. I did not even pull 5 packs from age of discovery but i think its more usefull to go for age of discovery because as you may know Water is Meta and Stray lambs is also a good card... So the probability to pull something new and better for me is Age of Discovery and im gonna go for it. Im not sure in your situation but i would pick also age of discovery :) And sorry for my bad englisch im a german highschool boy :D
i really like it overall and that you get free gems if servers are down or they get much downloads, but i hate that its only 3 field play. the most cards are made for 5 fields so lets say magic hats cant be used if u have 2 monsters on the field which sucks...and when u have 2 unlimited spell cards on field, u can only lay down 1 more spell or trap card
More Duel Links.. For Sure!! Can you please make some Giveaway or something else.. I really whant some cards, but i can't afford in my country :D Thanks mate
The thing is, how to get those sweet gems AFTER "finishing" the game ie Leveling Characters / Stages. PvP duels should always give Gems after the duel, at least 5 per duel.
I think they should reprint all the classics and make a return of Metal Raiders or Legend of Blue-Eyes White Dragon Reloaded, but all of them as foiled cards with 5 cards each pack, like they did on Dragons of Legend series. I always liked the simplicity of the classics. I feel like that new stuff of pendulum and so on broke the game completely. Everyone is summoning like 10 times in 1 turn which is really annoying and you have literally no chance to counter it. Konami really needs to add an additional rule like setting a limit of special summoning of max. 3 times per turn (as a suggestion). I remember playing the classics with my friends in my childhood where a duel lasted like 15 Minutes. Now you're defeated in less than 5 Minutes just by using that synchro xyz pendulum crap.
What's a really reliable deck to always beat the NPCs, at any level? My deck is really random; most of the times I win but some times I lose and this gets on my nerves a lot. Please upload a video suggesting good decks for this purpose!
