My son is half black and Vietnamese. He didn’t care to learn when I taught him Vietnamese at an early age, but now he wish he could learn them early on. He has picked up a lot of Vietnamese now. Please teach Monoco Vietnamese-people who can speak more than one languages have more advantage.

So lucky she’s going to be raised bilingual. That’s the best way to learn a different language, to be brought up speaking it and surrounding yourself with the people who speak it all the time.
I love the African and Asian culture. When you have a baby the whole family have the baby. I would leave work (after 12 hour shift) to cook and clean for my sister and her family. My mum would call and ask what I cooked so she cooks something different the following day. I remember feeling so tired but it was all worth it.
We in the carribean help each other also, we do not charge for looking after our own family members. I came here and was amazed at how the culture is different.

It’s honestly is! My partner was raised multilingual, he can speak four languages fluently. He’s able to communicate with all members of his family and that is the real gift❤️. We plan to raise our children the same!
What a special episode! Being a grandparent truly is life changing. It makes you remember your child being very young and it makes you want to live so much longer so you can have longer to not only love your child ,but love your child's child. I absolutely love that your mom and u will teach your daughter Vietnamese because I grew up with one of my best friends who was Mexican and her parents decided not to teach them Spanish because they were afraid they would have an accent. No no no! teach that baby her heritage and language! I'm so happy that you will do so and also grateful for the support that your mother will give you

My mother in law had me wipe my face with my daughter’s urine too and it did clear my skin…it’s a traditional thing to do in Peru. Breast milk is also very good for psoriasis. # bless you guys! ya are so cute as grandparents
