What it’s like Daily Driving a 1st Gen Cummins!

It's loud, the ride is rough, but one of the most dependable and simple trucks to work on. It will almost always get you where you want to go. haha

I daily drove mine for 5 years and loved it everyday. I will probably not own another vehicle that puts a smile on my face like my crew cab 1st Gen.

I have a 1993 first gen Cummins 350 dually it’s my farm truck but I love it and my dad has a 2005 3500 Cummins 24v and that truck is a amazing trucking love them both I live in a Cummins loved family

My thoughts exactly... kinda. Only difference is mines a Ford. But I own and daily drive my 1986 F250 idi diesel. These old mechanical diesel pickups work just as hard and a more reliable in my opinion than the news.

I have a 1993 club cab I drive every so often, outside of truck things the only thing I dislike are weak brakes (for being in suburbs/traffic often). Getting about 17-19 MPG though.

Is that a line-x paint job, I’m curious because it looks so good??

I'm hoping to either get one of these on my own, or inherit my Dad's. He's got a 1991 W350 Dually with four doors and 4x4 *AND* a 5 speed manual.

What You do realize outside of head and injectors it is the SAME motor Oh and injection pumps the same on the 98-02 one as the first gen (Ve rotary pump the vp is just electronic version which its issue is fixed with a lift pump) 88-02 are all mechnical (outside of vp pump) and are pretty much the same exact motor and the commen rail is just different injection system Lol albief the 6.7s have been proving themselves as million mile motors too
