I hope this helps those who are returning to Japan. I forgot to mention since I came from Canada, I am not required to quarantine. For regular tourists, it’s still unclear when Japan will allow tourists without packaged tours: tdrexplorer.com/when-will-japan-reopen/
So glad Chris that you got to go home for a couple of months for a nice break and to catch up with friends and family. Looking forward to seeing more content from you while we wait for Japan to reopen up fully for us overseas tourists. It’s been 3 years since I have had a Disney fix and 4 years since TDL 🥰 keep well.
My husband and I were planning our first visit next March for our wedding anniversary but we’ve had to mutually agree to stop planning and make alternative arrangements because of how stressful it is to not know if we will even be able to get into the country by that time. Wish things were different :(
I’m planning to visit Japan this coming October only for few days and just to visit my sister who works there . And I’m Canadian/ Filipino as well , do you think it would be easy by then ? Thanks
As much as I would love to visit, I’m waiting till more of the restrictions are lifted. I went to the US in May & that was a lot of work. Plus I got Covid there 😢 was expecting it so no big deal.
The Canadian Rockies and especially Banff truly carry the rest of Canada when it comes to natural beauty. While the food on Air Canada wasn't that great and you couldn't get any sleep, at least you got to watch Sonic 2 so it was a small price to pay, for salvation
Hi chris! Just wondering if my mom have to be on the package tour to visit Japan this October? If so, how do we purchase that? she’s a Permanent Resident here in BC and has a japan tourist visa already. She has a sister that lives iN tokyo so she has a place to stay. Hope you can help me thanks!
You were in Calgary! That’s where I live. It would’ve been cool to see you and say hi. Also I have the same Sailor Moon shirt. Glad you had a good trip back. Love your videos.
Super helpful to know for future travel. So glad you’re safely en route and or are home in Japan 🇯🇵! And your vulnerability and content overall has been so inspiring to watch these past few years. Thank you 🙏🏽 ❤️!
Me and a group of friends are looking to perhaps take a trip to Japan to travel around June/July? Is it likely we will be able to do this or do you think it will still be so strict then?
Honestly if I was able to, I'd spend the company's money on a monorail across the Pacific from Anaheim to Tokyo just so I could be in Japan. But you betrayed us by not watching a Disney movie
Thank you! I’m heading to Japan from Seattle on the 18th w/ a student visa! I’m completely stressed about testing though 😭 it’s weirdly hard to get proper documentation for it
This is so helpful! We are holding out for the borders to open soon soon/in the next year! Did you do a lot of shopping at the US parks?! If so we need a merch haul!
I'm glad you were able to visit with friends and family and refresh your soul. Glad to see that you made it back to Japan with relative ease (yay for good research and planning!). Rest up and I'm looking forward to seeing what you do next. Thanks - sandy
I'm going to hang on until March next year. After that it makes it a bit late to start planning an overseas trip, so if the borders aren't open by then, we will probably end up in the US. I don't want that, but my son would be pleased. Good to see you home again.
Went to the US from Japan last Christmas. Getting back was a hassle, PCR test at the airport, no public trans home and had to quarantine even though I'm vacced. Nice that it's gotten better.
Hi I recently went to USJ and thank you so much for making these videos and since you made these vids I new all about USJ and new what rides and food to ride and eat there. You are awesome 👏🤩🙃
It’s so nice you got to spend so much time back with your family and friends. It’s been a long time since I’ve been home too. It does my heart good to see you are well. Always looking forward to your next video 💚
I’ll admit we were lucky to have a HUGE team helping us to get in, but it was the most complex procedure I’ve ever had to go through to travel not only preflight but after I landed as well!
Hi Chris!! I’ve been binging your videos and I really love your content it makes me feel cozy and excited and like I’m in the theme parks/Japan too with you! :D we love you, you’re awesome! Hope you had a lovely time with your family. Thankyou for making the best videos.
I fly them because they're direct out of the easiest places for me to get to in Canada. Otherwise I'm going into the US for connecting flights. I didn't wanna add extra legs if I didn't need to (cause of all the cancellations happening everywhere). Thank you for watching and commenting as always, Violenzia! I hope you're well.
