Thanks Pedro. Bit annoyed that they didn't have the Tour Down Under when I raced back in 1986-1990 as I would have been able to keep up with them in the hills for sure but I guess now I can record it on my GoPro so I have really good memories of the rides and also get to share it with all the cycling fans worldwide which is rather cool when you think about it..

Thanks. I need to spend a fair bit of time on them in the future. I want to learn how to overlay my SRM data on the videos and sync it up properly. Also want to do long videos your can use on your trainer to keep it interesting

I think peter is a very very very cool cool cool person to be around with. There are multiple videos of fans riding with him, I have never seen him being rude to any of them. I think that’s why he’s very successful in life. Nice person and humble.

Peter uses two different Dura Ace model pedals. One for the right and a completely different one for the left. Personal preference. Wondering what the deal with that is.

Thanks for that info. That could be what they were discussing at the lights. I assume that every model has a different spindle length and platform height and he has found the combination that works best with his body geometry. Everyone has slightly different length limbs. Not many people are perfectly symmetrical

Thank you. I appreciate that as it has taken me a while to find a series of songs I like that mimics the mood of cycling with the pros. Upbeat and rhythmic. I will now need to get new sets for each video. It is never ending :-)

Thanks. I will be putting up new videos of my rides with power overlays soon. You will see why get dropped so easily when I am doing 400W and getting ridden away from with ease because of my huge weight deficit. I know my limitations on these rides and pretty much know most major rides in Adelaide well enough to know when to just turn around and go back home or back to the Tour Village and find another team to film on the flat roads..

All songs are listed in the description section in chronological order. That one is "Selfish" by Asia Cruise. If you want to use it in any videos just copy and paste the creative commons license. There is no copyright on CC music. Just a license agreement that you need to copy and paste the attributions. Always looking for good cycling background music to put with my videos. I quite like the music I found for this ride.. Might not be to everyone's taste though...

Good question. Usually around 30-35 km/h with peaks up to 40km/h. Went out with Richie Porte the other day and we were flying along one road at 51km/h effortlessly .I'll link to the Strava file here and also in my description for you.. www.strava.com/activities/1349513084

Haha lesson one. Never cut in on a pro groupunless it is a charity ride. I sit at the back and maybe ask a question at a traffic light or two and that is all.

They are normal human beings. Some would love it, some would be indifferent, some would probably hate it but I think they all realise it is part of their job to be in the public eye and have fans following them. Plus they know that their sponsors love the RU-vid exposure of their brands. It is a professional sport after all. They also know that once they get in the hills and turn up the gas 99% of the hobby riders will get blown out the back..

Oh yes, I know what you mean now. He had an issue with his gears and actually stopped and fiddled with his head unit at one point. I purposely leave a gap also so I don't run into the back of them if they have to brake suddenly. I have a lot more momentum than them given my size and they also run disc brakes. Last thing I want is to clean up Sagan and his crew

The Strava file is in the description section. It varies as you are constantly slowing down for lights but they sit on around 35km/h in cruise mode
