That's so cool! It's fun for us to see our bus in other videos. 😄 We loved meeting them, they're both such nice people and they did an amazing job with their trailer! 💚
I think I just saw your bus on another person’s video. They were giving a tour of Quartize...saying “that’s a cool color”....so, I’m saying...don’t change the color!!!! Love the new decals!❤️❤️❤️ (Jane in SC) ❤️🙏🏻
My wife and I are full time RVers going on three years now. I can't tell you how many hundreds of videos of busses and skoolies I've watched in that time. I ran across one of your videos a couple weeks ago and have been catching up with your build from the beginning. I just wanted to say that I really enjoy watching your travels and experiences. We're currently camped out on the West side of Phoenix waiting out the winter weather that's freezing the rest of the country. Hope to see you guys on road sometime. Also thanks for sharing the VAN Pride event. We didn't know this was a thing and will definitely try to make it next year.
3:34 👍 - 14:00 - Respectful of others and places is a treat these days. (Opinion: Enough wild is happening nation-wide already). 🙃 The more wild RU-vid folks may have more to show, but you may *not* want to take your channel there. Thank you for caring and posting this video. Best of times wished in your future travels.
Jimmy and Natalie, you guys are such a great couple, I am definitely jealous of your travels! I’ve seen your troubles with the bus, I saw the dread and some fear in your faces. Those times are definitely difficult and absolutely not enjoyable or pleasant to endure. You both weathered the storm and are on the road again. You will greatly benefit from the experience, it will make you stronger in life and your relationship will grow from it. My wife and I have been married for 30 years, we’ve shared so many tough times together and of course lots of adventures and fun trips. Even if I could I would not have it any other way. It’s great that you are out seeing this amazing country, I live in Arizona, we’ve traveled the west a lot. I am 63, my wife is 67, we both started working right out of high school and have ever since. I think if I could do it again, I would definitely spend the first years of my post high school life doing what you are doing. We started with a tent moved up to a camper shell, a truck camper, 2 different 30 foot fifth wheels and now a 20 foot couples trailer. We both suffer from chronic pain and can’t go as much as we want to, but we do get out and enjoy Arizona and the other western states. I am sure you have a list of places to see, I hope you see them all and more! May the Lord bless and keep you and make His face to shine upon you.
When the Airstreams go to the Balloon Fiesta there is a meet up and the rigs caravan to the Fiesta site. So, yes, a big caravan is very cool and we understand your perception. Next year will be a new experience that is flavored by a year of new experiences. Enjoy!
Guys, I really enjoy watching your adventures. We're in the process of getting our bus, and getting it converted to get out on the open road. Thanks to you, for showing us that when we goof up, it's ok to laugh and learn as we go. Amazing job you're doing.
I wouldn't have expected to see Modelo come out of the cooler I always figured Jimmy as a Coors Light guy! I would love to see both of ya'll get slightly inebriated, and please keep the camera on.
Yeah I catch your drift about filming in the sense that not all folks are into the YT thing, and I'm sure they're many that just wish to remain anonymous/faceless due to whatever reason choose them to dropout/drop-in the lifestyle and you have to honor their respect to privacy. For me, I got the "band of gypsies" vibe - as in the Jimmy Hendrix ☮️ primal way of life, similar to the 60's decade of groovy love & music. You guy need a Instagram identifier sticker to go with the RU-vid so folks can hit you up there too as you travel the highways and byways of America. Thanks for sharing the Skoolie vibe! Life's 2 Short Bus! 💚🤙🏼☮️
I love it: When you say. "Come hay". You 2 are an example of what True Love is all about. (Straight from the heart). Please keep it up. Don't stop. All I see in most life is fake stuff. You keep it real. Thanks for sharing your videos. Life is good. Regards
GREAT JOB you guys. You know, having to move is just proof of how resilient and flexible the community really is. I bet law enforcement was impressed. THANKS for your work on this. - Jim (The Mad Camper)
Ok, we couldn't wait any longer!! We purchased 2 Lectric e-bikes today......we used your link, so fingers crossed you guys get something ($$) out of it!! I know it won't be much, but every little bit helps?? LOL Now everyone else needs to buy 1 (or 2) and DON'T FORGET TO USE THEIR LINK!! Take care!
Hey you too :-) Julie from Gainesville Florida here! I am finally starting to get into the swing of things and watching your videos is absolutely helping! I want to tell you how much I appreciate everything you are doing and all the other videos that you've made. I have my big screen TV and my bus and I'm telling you I love watching it and seeing truly palooza gigantic in my bus! I know that sounds silly but it's true. Hopefully this year I will be going to school, I believe it's in February of 2023 and that gives me plenty of time to get things going but even if I don't get it finished the cool thing is it doesn't have to be in buses I swear I never finished anyways.!
Love the decals. You guys are so sweet. Love how respectful you are. I saw your bus and your build. I love the fact you hid the toilet. That was genius. ♥️♥️You guys rock!!!
It amazes me at all the things that people do out there to make a living! And the things that people do to help each other out for free! I would love to make it out there next year and it would be so awesome to meet you guys you are such a sweet couple! Be safe! 💜
Awesome part two for skoolie palooza! Looks like.it was a blast. Hopefully Ill be able to make it next year! I picked up my bus and it's sitting in my driveway. Demo start this weekend!
I don't have a skoolie but I came from RTR to SKPZ to see y'all and two skoolie people I met on the road. I saw your bus with the ebikes outside, and I wanted to say thank you for the videos and keep up the amazing journey (glad I get to say it here) but the door was shut. It was at Ehrenberg before you got your decals, which I didn't need to recognize the green bus with the wood-paneled door. My time there was short but wonderful. Thank you Donald, who fixes bicycles for free out of his bus, and who oiled my bike's chain. What a giving spirit, what a great community, what a great event.
Wow!! That was a beautiful sunset! Glad you all had such a great time. You really shared and explained a lot of the basics for the event I haven't seen others include when covering it. Love the decals! Your channel is growing.. How exciting! 🥰
Been waiting on this video , good to see you guys didn't get booted out of there too , see you guys are on a lot of other peoples videos there LOL no hiding from Mom and Dad there.
Hi Jimmy & Natalie, new subscriber, very cool video, we are also from South Carolina, Myrtle Beach area. But when it gets cold in South Carolina we head south to the Florida Keys where we have a small RV camper trailer parked at a campground that also has a huge marina where we keep our sailboat,
Very cool .. Just make sure that every thing is picked up when you leave . The last people to leave must make sure that it looks like U were never there.
Great video. You two are living the life!! Looks like a great event and you two captured the experience perfectly. Just enough to show the excitement and entice us but not enough to ruine folks privacy or come off as too shy to film at all. I enjoyed it all. Also, the talking bits, infront of an audience, are real uncomfortable for me too. However, I think most people dont judge negatively but are more watching in curiousity. "Are they famous?" "what are they talking about?" I assume is what folks think. If they ask me, then I just hope its a new subscriber I earned. I'll try to join the livestream next week!!
I can not wait to go to skooliepalooza! It seems like a lot of fun. 😁 That balance of when to record when you're trying to hang with people I have found difficult as well, I totally understand haha
Like the decal-seen a bus a month ago, thought oh did they come to Indiana(?)so asked my man to follow for a few..thank goodness kind man,it was a church bus,yes love peas/carrots,butter,sour creme, yum, have fun,
I enjoy your company and videos. You strike me as genuine and nice people. . I'm 66, waiting for my 18 yr old cat to cross over and then I'm heading out on the road. Cheers.
This looks like such a unique fun event!! We saw you on the Round the World Guys' channel (I think I spotted them at 12:00!!) and had to check you out! Definitely making us want to get our own skoolie someday.. Love the guy dancing on his bus. 😂😂😂 Interactions with people is always the hardest things to capture on camera. We can certainly relate to that.
Wish I had seen a sticker guy at the RTR back in 2017! I had put way too many things in my camper van and loved unloading them at the RTR for free! Now maybe the mom and me, and you probably won't even see this comment I know how much it takes to answer comments, but, jogging in that terrain with all those rocks is just begging for a twisted ankle or worse. Especially when you take your eyes off the path in front of you to look at each other while you're speaking! Sorry, I just had to say that! 💜
As with others I saw your rig on numerous you tube channels, so your distinct color stands out. It was interesting listening to all the various channels and there take on the event. Safe travels
Could you share your recipe for chicken taco soup?! I’ve seen you make it a few times and it looks sooooo good!! I want to make it now haha. Thanks for sharing, looks like so much fun. New decals look great.
We started out trying to film a bunch of stuff when we started full timing. It just got to the point we quit. We were sort of shy also but we found that it is really hard to enjoy everything through a viewfinder. Then it's hours of editing.
Heard bout that skooliepalooze?? Browsing through RU-vid and another channel, but everyone was having to move so yeah what a fiasco. Anyway it was interesting thanks for sharing.
🇬🇧🦋Hey both enjoy yourselves, that’s why you choose this way of life , Thank you for sharing moments of your adventures with the world , looked a fantastic event . About community and friendship , loved the guy dancing 🕺 on the roof .. Take care keep safe , Lulu and Paul xxx🦋🇬🇧
loved the video yall! My wife and I are thinking about transitioning to the bus life soon so it was cool getting to see what skooliepalooza is really like! I gotta ask tho.. whats the groovy track playing at 13:00?
Thanks! And that song is 'Better Kind of Bitter' - Peachy Pavement. We downloaded it from Epidemic Sound (Our referral link, if you're interested: bit.ly/35LUxbT) 😊
