Personally I’m not a fan of veneers because I find they turn a unique smile that is an identifying feature of the person into a very generic smile that looks like every other person with veneers. The homogenization of facial features due to societal pressure to look “perfect” is resulting a world where anything quirky or unique is seen as flawed. And people with veneers will always say, “but it still looks like my old smile!” but let’s be real, you wouldn’t have paid 20k if that were the case. You wanted a new smile - which is totally your prerogative!- but your old smile had an endearing quality to it that super perfect big lacquered teeth just lack. I wish people could just accept the “flaws” that make us human.

Your teeth before were really perfect to me 💗Very unique, the two front teeth were like little waves which I think is funny because you’re a surfer !! What made you sure the dentist didn’t have a deal with Invisalign (I’m not sayin there was any dishonesty) that the others didn’t and that’s why they were ready to start right away?

Got veneers on all but two teeth....an amazing transformation....but a grueling process...so many visits/hours in the dentist chair...

They do nubs if you're doing crowns. I needed crowns on the front because I had a root canal. I actually googled it I guess people call crowns veneers all the time and they use them interchangably. With that said my teeth look way better now they were already severly chipped.

Beautiful❤️ ! I've been searching for 2 years for an honest and reputable dentist to redo some bonding. I'm at a depressing dead-end. I may travel to visit, but wondering if he has virtual consult? I'm in midwest. This has taken away my misconception of veneers as everyone around here grinds the teeth down. How do you handle keeping your mouth open and not being able to swallow? I worry about my anxiety. Thanks for doing this video, it is and you are a Blessing. You have no idea what I've been through from some really horrific "Dentists". I envy your gorgeous smile🙏

I just got my buttons off last week and waiting for my retainer to come in but YES snacking would be such a pain so Invisalign alone stopped me from snacking LOL

I was just wondering why you chose to get veneers? As to me your teeth looked perfect before all your treatments 🙂 it this something which is popular in the US? I live in the UK and I think people would only get veneers if they had exceptionally bad teeth, or maybe people in the public eye also get them.

Her teeth were great to begin with! Those front teeth (with the small chips) could have been easily reshaped to match the rest of her already perfect teeth, saving herself $20k.

I love my veneers. But if I could do it again I would of straightened my teeth first. My dentist was not looking out for my best interest. He wanted to profit instead of the orthodontist that I was referred to by the dentist’s partner. I was naive thinking that doctors and dentists always have our best interests instead of profit. Get a 2nd opinion. Referrals from Family and friends are not always the best.

Get prepared cause at 40 you will have dentures or crowns and they make your breath smell

I think your old “smile” was way more beautifull! People should embrace their ‘imperfections’ (although I think nothing was wrong with your teeth). Nothing will be worse than every person in California walking around with a fake smile. Also your mouth looks bigger but that could be the camera angle.

Her real teeth looked perfect before so not much of a difference

I am so glad I am a man. I can dress pretty much as I wish, nobody cares about grey streakes in my hair and so forth. This is not good for womens mental health.
