I live in the Bronx right around the corner from the friary that Fr. Mark lives in. These Franciscans are amazing, I see them all the time praying the rosary outside of the women's clinic, praying with the homeless and addicted on the streets. They give so much and serve our community wholeheartedly.
That was the most beautiful talk I have ever heard. It was like listening directly to the Heart of the Father. Balm for the soul. Thank you, Fr. Mark-Mary, for allowing God to work and speak so clearly in you.
Thank you Fr. Mark Mary for painting such a beautiful image for us in what it means to be God the Father's children. Your words cut my heart. Our Father is a beautiful Father. He accepts us when we come to Him. I came to Him broken, soiled in sin, rejected, alone and afraid and He accepted me as I was. He didn't say come back when you've cleaned yourself up, He accepted me right then and there. Yes, I've fallen into the trap of thinking I must do a,b,and c to keep God's love and so I thank you Fr. for clarifying that God the Father loves me just as I am. We are living in blessed times to have access to such devout priests who help us know God better. God bless you and keep you safe in your work.
