Welcome back, Richest fans! Every year, China adds more and more billionaires to their ranks. Now, according to Forbes, only the U.S has more of the uber-rich residing in their country. But that can change in the near future. For those elite wealthy folks in China, what’s life like for them? Well, that’s what we’re examining today. We’ll see how billionaires cope in the Asian country. And it’s not always so easy. Sometimes, a person’s fortune can be significantly reduced if they step out of line. We’ll also examine how they avoid this as well as see some of the luxury purchases China’s citizens have made.
Now for the spoiler paragraph. If you like surprises, we suggest you stop reading and watch the video multiple times. We kick off by looking at the richest people residing in the country along with their massive net worths. Including the iconic Jack Ma. Then, we see examples of what happens to the uber-rich should they draw the ire of the authorities. One person was ordered to sell his oversea investments. It’s becoming more common for the public to dislike over-the-top displays of wealth. So, we’ll examine times when billionaires have been frugal and donated billions to good causes in order to avoid criticism. We’ll then see China’s increasing passion for luxury goods. As well as their record breaking splurges on dogs and racing pigeons. Finally, we’ll briefly examine one of the most expensive animals ever sold in the world, the racehorse Shareef Dancer.
