I don't know man, that used to be the case. But these days Ferrari and Lambo both have their shit together and are making cars that can do the same. I mean, not the same, this is a GT3 we are talking about, but they do things very similar and are usable cars is what I'm saying. Check out the Ferrari Roma for instance. You can pick one of those up for LESS than these GT3s are going for right now and that car is INSANE.

I'm just saying that in the past you could never really use a Ferrari or Lambo for anything other than short trips and what not. These days though they are making much more reliable cars. Also, Porsche WAS more affordable, and still is on the lower end, but they are allowing dealers to gouge customers insane amounts for cars like this GT3. Out the door you will pay around $285,000 IF you are lucky. Ferrari and Lambo on the other hand strictly forbid that practice. You can buy a brand new Ferrari Roma for instance for LESS than this GT3. It's crazy.

Well, I mean, he is clearly skilled to be able to drive it like that on that road. For most people they wouldn't be able to do that on that road. Still, he took a massive risk doing it and it will eventually bite him in the ass. He isn't immune to kids/animals/old people etc being around the next corner with not enough time to react. It will happen sooner or later.

Actually, I had a 2004 Carerra Cab that suuucccked. Back then they actually lacked power and handling compared to other brands. At least their lower end 911, like I had did. However, these days, yes, they never dissapoint. The entire 911 line up is awesome but the GT3 (in manual) is by FAR the best iteration and I just sold a 2017 Turbo S so that is saying something.

It's incredible but the 991.1 and 991.2 were very similar in capability. Yes, the next gen Porsche is always better but the last gen would blow anyone's mind as well.

@@DrummingAli93 Dude non of them never got to test the zo6 so we leave it at that, when the time comes we will see which car wins in each area so you comment is pointless, the zo6 stats that are release so far shows the zo6 is currently leading the 992 gt3

My best mate is very successful he makes 200k a year i make 20k a year and hes a car finatic. Ive driven his 2022 mercedes gt that hes got at 165mph. He also let me drive his 2020 Bmw x4m competition and his 2022 Mercedes E63s. Hes my best mate. Im not envious of what he makes, he works dam hard and im not that smart to make that money and i go to his house at least twice a week, enter through his gates in my 2019 mercedes c200 see all his cars and i tell him mate i cant compete, you deserve everything you got. I wish i was smart as you.

Its obvious you're brain washed from media and you're not actually driving these cars. Don't compare $250k+ cars to ones under $100K. You sound like a moron. Now the upcoming C8 Z06 will have performance capabilities that will match cars well over its price bracket. It will be exciting to see how it performs. When GM developed the C8 Z06 they benchmarked the Ferrari 458 for sound and performance and the Porsche GT2 RS for chassis and handling. Im curious to see what time it lays down at the ring.

I just got an allocation and had to pay $50,000 over MSRP to secure it. That puts me out the door at around $285,000 for a car that should be out the door at $230K. I'm going to pay it though because the car is worth at least $285K anyway and they are listed sometimes around $325K to $350K (although I don't think many are selling at that). I figure I'm safe at $285K and gives me a bit of wiggle room. I think it will be worth $500k once Porsche is forced to go all electric at the end of the decade.

Who cares about the ticket....if I was him I'd be worried about killing a kid in those residentual areas. No way he'd be able to react on some of those corners with the houses right there. He seems smarter than this so it's surprising he is taking that risk. Not cool. But I guess the almighty "views" (money) are worth it.

Agreed, I'm all for driving fast in the canyons but never around homes/driveways and other traffic. You gotta pick roads less traveled man.. Go out in the middle of Angeles Crest or 33 in Ojai, not Malibu.

I think you might be confusing what a swan neck wing actually is. It isn't just a spoiler that sticks up like it does. It is all about how the foil/wing is mounted. With this swan neck design the wing is suspended from the brackets above it. This allows the entire wing to generate down force because it's usable surface (the bottom) is not interrupted by brackets. It seems so simple but it hasn't been needed or done that often on street cars before.
