My buddies dad installs clear bras out of his garage and every time I’m over there a different car over from Lambos to Bentleys, always fun to see the new neighbors think they are drug dealers
As a 2023 Tundra TRD Pro owner, you should set the camera to automatic. It’s a lifesaver driving at slow speeds through tight areas, especially drive throughs.
@@elithepitbulldog2209 We own both. No need for ignorant comments like yours. The new gen tows better. The recalls were for the 23 year model, we have a 24. Never had a problem.
Just bought a 2024 ford tremor @2.99% because the Tundra TRD Pro was @7.99%. I'm happy I shopped around because after Test Driving the Tundra TRD Pro twice and the Ram Rebel/Warlock (can't remember) Never thought I'd own a ford, always hated them; but I feel like it was the better choice. I hated the turning radious of the tundra; makes for a bad off reader and ford doubled down with it's trail turn assist.
My neighbor wishes he could live with his 24, but it’s been in the shop longer than in his driveway. The engine grenaded at 5,000 miles. Finally got it back and drove it 2 weeks and already the transmission is having problems, and the rear differential is noisy.
about to buy a Tundra, but looking at the car seat installation I think its probably the only truck that you can roll the back window down and access the tether part from the bed of the truck. I have two kid with forward facing carseats so this is one of the huge benefits to this truck for us!!
Really disappointed with Toyota, the Tundra and the Sequoia should've been obvious homeruns buts they were listening to the consumer. What is the point of a hybrid that gets low of a MPG? My 2008 tundra V8 did that MPG.
I have a 24 and hate it. Uncomfortable seats, wind noise, lots of plastic, tailgate shuts like a 1970s truck, rear bumper is worthless. Love the pano roof and the rear window rolling down 👍lots of power👍i gave the truck to my wife and got a new Silverado zr2 1500 with the duramax. Way better quality if you can believe that.
We had a 2023 for about 8 months before trading it. Soooo many issues. Multiple service campaigns that couldn’t be addressed. It took us 7 months to get the second key due to “supply chain issues.” The seats squeaked like crazy when you leaned back (common issue with these). The hybrid battery cooling system malfunctioned multiple times. I’m usually a Toyota fan but their quality for the first year was awful. Maybe this 2024 will be better.
Sometimes it can be luck, my 2016 GX460 after 5 years had so many issues with brakes and suspension that I had to sell it, and the leather quality on the steering wheel was not the best either, but there are people getting to 600k miles even without any problems
Some things are cool on the tundra some aren’t, whatever works for you will determine if it’s a good truck. I will say this, the durability of the engine will be the most headache and that’s where Toyota takes the win in my opinion. I stand by my statement regardless of how well maintained the trucks are.
I have had my 24 1794 OR for about 2 months now. I don't drive it much as I have a company car but I have really enjoyed it. It is my first new vehicle and I wanted something practical and a touch of luxury with the 1794 interior. My only real complaints are related to the turning radius as well as the start-stop system being a touch on the weird side. I generally drive in the eco mode as I find even the normal drive mode occasionally being a bit touchy / laggy in stop and go traffic and like the eco mode to dull out sharp inputs.
i Just cant get used with that hood when i drove my cousins trd off road its like a beak in the front when you sit on the driver seat thinking whether the heck is the straight line of the road ..
I own a 24 trd pro. The fit and finish is poor compared to my previous 2022 Toyota Tacoma. The recall is the real scary part as the hybrid is not part of it and the recall range ends before the 24 MY begins. Yet, hybrids within the recall have failed due to the spun bearing and 24 MY tundras have also failed, including pros. Toyota’s reliability has really taken a dive and this is coming from a Toyota fanboy. I’m going to be selling my truck in a couple months. Do yourself a favor and get the 2024 4Runner as it is the last of the old gen platform from Toyota. That thing will outlast you. If you really need a truck bed, either go with one of the big three or get yourself a 2021 Toyota tundra. The 5.7 was bulletproof. Trust me, all the gadgets on this truck are nice but they don’t make up for where the truck is lacking. Oh and the turning radius is horrendous, especially when you put on bigger tires like what I have (35”). Stay away from the new gen Toyota products, at least for a few years.
One side of the garage houses my Demon 170. The other houses a tiny home gym and kid toys. And specifically for this Tundra, it wouldn't fit even if it was an empty garage
I've had glasses (near sighted) for a few years. Really only need them at night, but I like sharp vision at all times. Couldn't do contact lenses this week, so glasses came on
@@MilesPerHr and also i got some questions for you 1: how old is your daughter/namd 2: ever thought of revewing a MC20 maserati or a roma? 3: where were you born/raised
The point here is that you don't need to be an enthusiast or an experienced off-roader to benefit from those features. You don't have to use them if you like being in control/know what you're doing.
I have a 24 trd as well! I love it so far!!! Got it in September! Only complaint for me is the sound system - even with the JBL. Parking ain’t too bad but tough in the city since it’s so big lol! And yes that turn radius SUCKS!!
