My hubby is an Air Force pilot. He loves his maintainers!! You guys ROCK! Without you guys, they would have no planes to fly. I was an Air Force vet myself. So I feel ya!!
He was even a candidate for the Navy SEALS but was injured during the training. Then he went to the 7th Fleet Oriental Band where he sang in multiple languages across the world.
My respect for Gabriel went up even higher! I didn’t know he was in the navy. That’s so amazing! I admire his talent and thank him for his service to our country :)
Worked on Ejection seats for 11 years on F-117As, F-16C/Ds, F-15C/Ds and F-22As. As a former singer in chorus and choir, this and the singing impressions video really kinda hit me. Still working to find my place after 6 years of being disabled retired, but this video was a breath of fresh air for me.
This may be my favorite video of all time. I was smiling from start to finish. Happy tears formed when you started singing, but particularly when you broke into Danger Zone at 14:05. Oh man you nailed it. I wish I could have seen a clip of your pilot when you were singing at six G's. She must have been smiling from ear to ear listening to you sing while she cranked up the G's.
Wow so impressive! My husband was an aviation electrician for VMA242 which has now I believe become an F18 squadron. It takes so many people to make one of those birds fly. SO amazing that you were able to not get sick from that.
I would love to see more vlogs like this, theyre so entertaining and seeing how you interact with everyone feels so wholesome and refreshing. Thank you so much!
This was awesome! I think it was especially cool to see the curvature of the Earth once you got to a high enough altitude. My dad and I just spent ten minutes talking about Gs and G suits, blood and oxygen, and how it goes through your body from your blood cells. Awesome vlog, Gabe!
Your enthusiasm shines through, and it's evident that you embraced every moment, from strafing runs to parabolas. As a fellow pilot who has been fortunate enough to fly as One bravo tango, your excitement resonates with me. Your courage and passion for aviation are truly inspiring. Keep soaring to new heights and sharing your incredible experiences with us. 🛩✈🙌
The most Badass Job in the world..In my next life I want to come back and be a fighter Pilot and fly a fast Jet…(with two engines) 😅so very very cool! Thanks for this..
I really like your voice impressions, but I find it especially awesome that you're in the Navy! Must be pretty tough there, but I love how brave you are. 😁👍
HOW could anyone dis-like these videos you have been filming! They must be just jealous!!! I would have loved the flight, then i would puke getting off! I have middle ear issue, but I lOVE coasters!!
I remember unrepping with the Carl Vinson and Missouri in the 80's. Being a boiler technician on 6 mos Westpac twice had its advantages. Watching all manner of sea trials and being apart of it was an experience you can't experience anywhere. However you must be willing to go through at least the basics. The indian ocean, Hawaiian islands, Philippines, Singapore, Africa, Diego Garcia, and other ports are fantastic. On my own I could never have visited these places.
Honestly you are so talented, it’s crazy I went to go to bed and now I can’t because I watched your videos and now I’m awake this vlog was crazy and the fact you were singing under g’s my man you are amazing.
I think I said "awesome" about every ten seconds while watching this video. Thanks so much for uploading this, it's entertaining, informative, and inspiring. Also, nice job pulling 7.5 G's! No way I could do that... 😂
3:13 the Hook at the back, is for when the F/A 18 Super Hornet Lands on the Carrier, it hooks onto the cable called the Arresting cable, that pulls the aircraft back to help it not yeet into the sea, and when the Hornet Takes off, the Hook at the frost connects to the Catapult on the Carrier deck, that accelerates the Fighter upto 60 knots assisting take off.
Actually I think they just switched to the F/A-18C Super Hornet last year. Previously they flew the F/A-18b Hornet, which was a fourth generation fighter instead of a 4.5 like the Super Hornet.
Im starting college next fall to study mechanical engineering. Watching this makes me want to switch to aerospace engineering to become a fighter pilot
3:25 Stabilator :P The little piper aircraft have the same which makes em even cuter little planes. But they also have a little trim tab incorporated so not as swish
My hubby is an Air Force pilot. I’m an Air Force vet. Fighter jets are awesome. I’m partial to the Air Force lol F-15,F-16, F-22, F-35! Best fighter jets out there lol 😂
My father was a f-15 strike eagle pilot and after he retired as a commander and wants to be a flight instructor for people to get some more people in the air and with the shortage of airline pilots we kinda need to.
