It is insane how timing works - your words hit home this evening for me personally. I'm in that group that did not finish College and now find myself saying HUM, should I have gone. The answer for me was and still is NO - HECK NO... I was not at a point in my life where it made sense. I was making way more money being "self taught"... I struggle with self doubt "I'm sure I am the only one" - LOL... Trust me what your doing as BHSA stated below - your planting, a rain will come and the flowers that pop out for you and your family will be more than you'll expect... Okay, enough of that - Almost all the way through the video and will rewind and listen again as I lay down this evening!

Yes. I haven't figured out RU-vid entirely yet. I truly appreciate you seeing the value in this kind of content. These messages sit at the foundation of everything I do...I share adventure videos and fulfilling dreams primarily to encourage and inspire people in life. Otherwise, I would just keep the experiences for myself.

There is an 80% rule. Most people will do 80% then stop, very few follow through. It's both a mental and physical phenomenon. Most people hit a wall at 80% when biking and running and quit - understanding that helps you prepare for it, know it's coming and prepare to push through when you get there.

Persistence is key for sure. What I find (for me) is that charging forward isn't a problem until I feel that I have been charging forward for far too long. Then burnout sets in. It's in those moments when you start to feel defeated in the back of your mind when you have to take pause, regroup, and find new places of strength to keep on.

Great video Scott. Needed to hear this as I’m trying to decide if I should work on doing my work full time or stay at the job where I’m not fulfilled in what I do there.

Well, I guess that depends on if you can afford to live the life you want to live while doing your work. In other words, if you can make adjustments to your life that you can be satisfied with in order to do your work full time then why not? Or, is your work also something that can align specifically with your job? I would say that if you don't like what you spend your time doing during the work day, you have some work to do around that decision in itself.
