What It Takes To Become An Astronaut 

I've wanted to be an astronaut since I was 4 and I'm on my way on that path getting all A's and taking AP classes. I'm in 10th grade but when I was in 8th grade I met a real astronaut named Colonel Lockhart and got his signature. He even gave me a little talk about becoming an astronaut therefore Inspiring me to work more harder to achieve my dreams. Best of luck to those other people who share the same dream as me.

Back when I was at the age of 3 or 4 years old, I dreamt to be an Astronaut and was always curious about the study of astronomy but I was discouraged to continue since I knew that it would take such a long journey and lots of money. I was enlightened when I was in 8th grade that no matter what you're dream is, if you're passionate enough to reach it you certainly will. I hope I can achieve this dream Ud: I became an artist

I've always wanted to be an astronaut. I knew it was close to impossible. I'm thirty and the recent 50th Moon Landing anniversary allowed me to shake hands with an astronaut. I was so inspired I recently enrolled in school for eng and completed my first semester with A's. I doubt I'll make it, but I'm excited to see where I end up on my journey...👩🏾‍🚀🙏🏾

Ever since I was in 9th grade, I have wanted to be an astronaut. I've been learning to fly planes, I'm on the robotics team, and I work hard in school to get all A's. I am so excited to see where technology will take us, and I really want to help be a part of that in some way. I can't wait to be a part of NASA someday!

It was my dream since i was five and my mum bought me my first solar system book. Fastforward 22 years and im now a licensed pilot with a bachelors degree in aerospace engineering, a bachelors in computer science, a masters in astronautics and a masters in robotics. Still aiming for the stars.

I've always had the ambition to be an astronaut. People will ask, "oh what's your long term goal?" It's to join those in space. It's to enter the unknown, and to explore, and do whatever I can to help humanity's knowledge in space. I'm 17, and I've got all A's and B's. My current GPA is 3.2 (I have a lot of Honors classes), and I'll strive for the extra .8 points. Though I'm at a crossroads in my life. I don't know whether to become an Air Force Fighter Pilot, or to enter a STEM career that NASA will select candidates from. Any advice to help me on my journey would be much appreciated

I was 13 when I said “I want to go beyond the limits I can go...I want to go beyond those limits!”. Now I’m trying to work myself to meet those standards and my siblings and friends told to not go, far too dangerous and too much work, but I don’t care! I’ll do it anyways! I came from England where everyone shot me down from my dreams and they told me to do something easier and I don’t know the definition of easy. Nothing is easy but you can make it easy if you apply yourself. I’m a Freshmen and I’m trying to get into the AP classes and that hasn’t been working out so well but I know for a fact I will in my Sophomore Year. I can do this and no matter how much I have to go through to make it to the finish line I can and will do it!! Life is not easy nor is it hard. If you can apply yourself and use what you know and the knowledge that you’ve gained and hold on to, you can achieve anything in life! I believe in you and don’t listen to the mean things what everyone says about, they’re just jealous because they can’t be you! You can do and in times like these anything is possible as long as you can apply yourself. AMEN!!!
